10|INFECTION
Terra finds her wandering the hallways. "I believe that I wanted to show you something until we were rudely interrupted by my sister" He speaks as she looks at him. Asherah nods. He reaches his arm out for her to take and she does so with a smile, taking the crook of his elbow. And then the two of them are walking down the hallways as they were before. "Your sister? Luna, what happened to her?" She asks him. The girl has always believed in the good in people and to see that one girl hurting like that and showing these evil sides of her, Asherah wants to find out what had made her that way.
Eyeing her, he sighs. "It is not a story that one pure of heart should listen to. What happened to her was what we all feared and she nearly destroyed the worlds" He tells her. Wanting to tell her everything and yet at the same time wishes not to taint her innocence and kindness with gruesome tales of the past. Her brown eyes look up to meet his green ones. "You speak of worlds, are there more than one?" She asks him. Terra chuckles.
"There are five worlds, for each of my siblings and yet they are one when we think of it like that. Balancing one world. Once we were Gods as mortals said we were and they worshipped us as Gods. With time we thought of ourselves as Kings and Queens and our worlds became our kingdom or Queendom. There is the Underworld which my brother Hades rules, the Deep Blue where my brother Poseidon controls, the Nature which would have to be this place that I grow, the Heaven would be where my father controls but my brother took over from him, and then the Forgotten world which my sister, Luna owned once" He explains to her.
Doing all which he can to make it so that she will be able to understand. There has been a lot which has been laid on her this day and not all of it will be able to travel to her mind and become understanding. Soon enough, she will. Terra wishes that he could tell her all and she would be able to understand. He does however have to remind himself that while he has lived for longer than anyone knows, she has not and the world is still new to her.
Asherah will one day know all which he knows as she is meant to be his Queen, his equal and even above him. That time will come soon enough. It has not arrived and until then he will have to ease her into his life given that she simply woke up, drank something disgusting and met creatures she thought existed only in stories. Somehow she is still not going mad and that is a good sign. She is after all meant to be Queen and her mind is stronger than even she knows.
"Hades and Poseidon? I have heard those names in Greek mythology, have I not?" She asks him, confused. Asherah tries to take in the words which he had spoken to her and suddenly, she feels like the world is strange and yet something that she wishes to be in. Sharply he nods. "We were never given names upon our arrival in this world. We took the names which the mortals gave to us and they have stuck with us. Mortals say all sorts of things of us, spinning tales that eventually become myths. Some remain the truth while others not so much" He says.
