"babe!" i closed the front door to me and my girlfriends apartment with the back of my foot since my hands were filled with bags from the grocery store.
"in the bathroom, i started my period." i rolled my eyes, knowing she's going to have mood swings for the next five days.
"good thing i got your favorite candy and i'm making dinner." she walked in with her cheeks stained with dry tears. she stood next to me just standing there looking at me.
"are you going to help me or stand there like a deer in fucking headlights" i said laughing.
no answer.
i turned and looked at her smiling at her.
she threw her arms in the air trying to grab my neck but didn't succeed because how short she is.
i bent down and wrapped my arms around her waist and slow swayed our bodies. "i got you your favorite candy." i said into her neck.
"thank you matti." she said into my shoulder.
i pulled away and kissed her neck.
"i'm making your favorite pasta for dinner." she smiled and walked over to the other side of the island table and sat down.
i started putting the food away, as she just started at me. i looked at her and smiled "why are you staring at me like that?" i said stopping what i was doing and looked at her.
"because your a work of art, how could i not stare at you?" she said with her head in her palms.
i blushed and looked away from her.
🌿15 mins later🌿
me and sage currently were eating side my side, in comfortable silence as she devoured her pasta. i got up and put my plate and cup in the sink. i dried my hands off and turned to see sage about to do the dishes.
"hey hey hey, i'll do that. go lay down sage."
"are you sure?" she asked. "yes, i'm positive. wanna watch a movie?" she nodded her head.
we both walked down the hall into our shared room and began putting our pjs on.
she grabbed a hoodie and slipped on shorts,
i took off my shirt and slipped on new boxers.
she scrolled through disney+ and put on the first pirates of the Caribbean. she looked up at me and smiled. "what are you smiling about?" i asked laughing. "hey mattia remember how we first met?"
i laughed getting a short vision of our first encounter. "ofc i do, it was monday the 12th, you were acting like a pain in the ass." i said laughing. she blushed and rolled her eyes.
"i was not! i just didn't like how cocky you were acting." she said rolling her eyes.
i kissed her head and caressed her cheek. "you liked it, don't lie." she laughed and smacked her lips.
i closed my eyes thinking about that one memorable day....
