Five months later,
Kamryn had started 4th grade, and it was now October. Frankie never went with Bucky and the crew on Friday nights to their old highschool's football games. It was the weekend before Halloween when Bucky and Frankie spent their Saturday at the local pumpkin patch.
They did hay ride, and a corn maze together. Bucky helped them pick out pumpkins for the porch. He also got stuck with carrying all three to his truck.
"Thank you my big strong boyfriend." Frankie said as she kissed him.
"Yeah yeah, you missed alumni night last night." He said
"Buck I told you." She said
"Jolie was there she asked about you." He said as he leaned against his tail gate.
She looked down. "Buck I don't like who I was back then. And I don't want my daughter to know who I was. Being back there reminds me of everything." She said
He kissed her, "I know its hard. We both weren't happy back then baby. But look we are together now and Jolie only asked where you were and how you been. I don't think she would blurt out anything in front of Kam. Besides she's a mom too." He said as he opened up the car door for her.
Kamryn was already asleep in the back of the truck. That night they carved pumpkins together and sat them out on the front porch steps.
The following weekend, Bucky Frankie and Kamryn dressed up as characters from The Grinch and went trick or treating together.
