Chapter one

It had been almost two weeks since Betty had ended things with Archie. "It's just over" she said breaking his heart in two. They hadn't seen or spoken to eachother since and it was killing Archie he had to see her.

To Betty:
Can we meet at pops?

The Truth was Betty had been avoiding Archie because she knew if she was to spend any sort of time with him she'd end up doing something incredibly stupid. like kissing him or professing her undying love. She knew seeing him was a bad idea it was getting late she probably should just ignore the text and go to sleep. But she missed him she couldn't not see him anymore.

To Archie:
Sure I'll be there in 5

"Hey" she said sitting down across from him

Archie: I can't keep doing this Betty

Betty:Doing what?

Archie: you know what pretending like what we did was a mistake like we regret it

Betty: Archie what we did was stupid it should have never happened

Archie: Are we really gonna keep doing this Betty? Pushing down are feelings pretending that there not there I mean is that really what you want to keep doing?

Betty: it's not about what we want Arch it's what we have to do

Archie: No it's not Betty its-

Betty: Yes it is and I think your forgetting that in less than a month none of this is going to matter I'm going to college where are you going Archie? What are your plans? I mean you have no idea what your going to do after senior year and your sat here worrying about all this stupid Melodrama. well let me give you some advice stop worrying about me or your dumb ass rivalry with Hiram lodge worry about you and your future.

Before Archie even had a chance to respond Betty got up and left

It was the morning after they met at pops and Betty hadn't slept a wink she couldn't believe she said all that especially to Archie. I mean they never fight or argue maybe when they where kids. But that was always over stupid stuff like who's turn was it to play with the toy or pick the game but never like this. All she wanted to do was apologise she had never been so sorry.

Betty: Hey

Archie: H- Hey Betty what's up?

Betty: Wanna walk to school?

Archie: Yeah sure

Betty: Arch I just wanna say how sorry I am for what I said last night it was late I was tired I was stressed I just-

Archie: wait why are you apologizing? Betty everything you said was right I need to face the facts if i don't figure this out soon well I'm fucked.

Betty: you'll figure something out Arch you always do. And hey if all else fails there's always community collage it's free and I'm pretty sure you need next to no grades to get in.

Archie: Yeah I guess your right

Betty: And- *Yawns*

Archie: Tired?

Betty: Tired would be an understatement I got no sleep last night I'm absolutely exhausted

Archie: Well make sure you get some before Tonight

Betty: What's Tonight?

Archie: Veronica's throwing a party at the speak easy one last big get together before we all part ways Remember?

Betty: Yeah but honestly I think I'm just gonna skip it something always goes wrong at the speak easy I mean do you remember last time?

Archie: Veronica's promised not to invite as many people as last time it's just going to be a small get together with a few friends. There won't be any fights, gambling, The cop's won't be called. Come on Betty you have to come it won't be the same without you
