"Goldilocks!" I'm already out of breath, but I still keep trying to catch up with her. It goes on like this for a while, I'm not sure how long, but a while. Jeez, this girl has a lot of energy! My legs are tired and my feet are starting to feel numb! Just then, my foot trips over my own leg.

I quickly swing my arms in front of me to try and break my fall as a reflex. "Ah!" I yell before my hands meet the dirt and rocks along with my legs. "Ow!" I gasp. Jeez! That hurt so bad! I lift one of my hands and look at it. Little pebbles are sticking to it. I wipe most of them off, but seemed to have cut some of my skin.

"What happened?! What did you do?!" Goldilocks asks as she runs over to me. I look up at her while trying to calm my heavy breathing from chasing her.

"I tripped." I say in between breaths. She grabs my hand and looks at it.

"Ouch." She comments. "Does it hurt?" She questions. Does it hurt? What is she, dumb? Of course it hurts!

"Yeah . . . maybe if you didn't run." I mumble the last part.

"Sorry, I was in a hurry to save everyone from the queen and get you home." That's right. I almost forgot why we were running this way. Crap. The queen. What am I going to do about her? Ugh, I'll figure the out later, I still can't think of anything. For now, I just need to worry about getting home and actually finding the queen. Wait, where is the queen?

"Sorry, uh, where is the queen anyways?" I ask while wiping the rest of the small stones off of my hands.

"Um . . ." She says mostly to herself. "I actually don't know." She admits. I sigh. I can't be angry with her, I can't even answer a few questions, like where I'm from.

I go to say something, but a scream cuts me off. A loud feminine scream.

"What was that?! Where did it come from?!" Goldilocks asks frightened.

"This way." I launch myself off the ground and run down the road. There's another cottage that's slightly bigger than the last one.

"Should we go in?!" She yells as we hurry to the small building.

"Yes! Someone could be getting murdered for all we know!" We bust into the cottage and look around. We hear some crashing from one of the rooms. We don't say anything to each other, we just rush into the room.

There's some broken vases and picture frames on the ground. Torn sheets, blankets and pillows. But what stands out the most, is the big gray wolf cornering a girl with a blood red hood.

"What do we do?" Goldilocks whispers. I think for a moment. Uh . . . I look frantically. There has to be something that can help . . . Perfect. I found just the thing.

"Hey! Over here!" The wolf snaps his head toward us.

"What are you doing?!" Goldilocks screams. I shove her over and point at her.

"Chase her, she just ate. Probably tastes better too." I persuade.

"WHAT?!" She freaks out. Her eyes are really big as she stares at me in disbelief. She looks over at the wolf as he starts creeping toward her. Goldie picks her feet up and runs out of the room, but the wolf chases her.

I hurry over to the wall and lift the hunting rifle off the small metal hooks.

"Do you know if this is loaded?" I look over at Red, wait, Kiana?

"Yeah, it is." She answers.

"Know how to shoot?" I ask. I know how to shoot again, just not very well. I never hunted before.

"Yeah." Kiana responds.

"Here." I toss the gun over to her. "Come on." I rush to the bedroom's door and she follows me. I go to the living room to see Goldilocks running from the wolf.
