In my dream...
I lived in a small modern-day sort of village where everyone knew each other and everyone loved me. As one might expect from a dream, everybody was happy and there was peace. As also is common for a dream, the tone shifted when that peace was shattered by a string of murders that took place over the course of a week.
Our town had a serial killer on the loose.
I soon discovered the culprit was my best friend's girlfriend and my best friend was next. Trying to keep her safe, I spent one long night playing cat and mouse with the killer until I severed her head in our town's garbage dump.
Overcome with rage and grief, I shoved the head in a bag and took it to the local bowling alley where I told my best friend to stay with our other friends. To show I had taken care of the problem, I rolled her head down the lane much to the shock and horror of my friends.
Days after this night when it appeared the murders had stopped, the adults brought my friend and me in one by one to question us about the murders and the disappearance of our former friend.
We were faced with a moral dilemma: Who was the actual killer?
Despite my savage display in the alley, my friends protected me. And when things calmed down, my best friend took her ex's head to get rid of it, and say her goodbyes.
