I opened my eyes, to see my trusty beast beside me. He was sort of a mix between a dragon, and a lycan. All the same, I loved him. I looked at the reflection in my knife. My short, curly hair was fine and my face looked evn better. No sleepy eyes either. Bonus.
Images flashed my mind. I.....I was fighting my friend Julian? I shook my head hard. No. Julian was my friend. I couldn't possibley betray him. I took a breath. Julian popped up behind me, which startled me a little, but not much. He was frowning. Not good.
"Haruka. The demon's escaped." That was all he said before the flooring under us caved in. The only thing that saved us from plummeting into lava were our beasts. Something was rizing from the lava. I woke up, and sat up in a blurr. I was in a place. An orphanage? Hospital? All I knew was that it was crowded with people. My cousin entered the door of my room.
"Winston!" I called, and we hugged each other. He kissed my forehead, and I kissed his cheek. I looked up at my aunt, and I saw in her face, sorrow and anger mixed.
"Honey, you know he had breast cancer, right? You almost tried to kill my son." I instantly felt guilty, and put two and two together. Julian was my cousin Winston?! A-and, why was I a gilr now?! I looked up at Winston's bubble in his head. He--he was a girl?! And was listening to cures for breast cancer?!
--In the Bubble--
"Now, we present to you, our new cure for breast cancer. Come work in a maid resuraunt!"
--Out of Bubble--
The messages went on like that. And then, I soon woke up.......
