Clark Kent's most vivid memories are of the days when my life changed. He remembered coming to earth, feeling the sun on his face for the first time.

Hearing the voices of his parents. His mother Martha Kent called him their greatest surprise. And boy there sure were lots of them. Clark remembers loving Smallville...The people, the community, how the small things were the big things. He thought he'd live there forever.

But his father's death set me on a different path. Eventually he moved to Metropolis. To become who he was meant to be.

But his most vivid memory of all, was the day he met her...Lois Lane...They fell in love. Clark told Lois who he really was, where he came from. They married, got their first place together... The twins came. They were as different as brother and sister got.

Jonathan was easy. Always happy, always smiling. And things with Y/n were more...challenging. Tantrums, night terrors. A year ago, she was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder.

And suddenly here he is, living in Metropolis, raising a teenage son and daughter, married to the most famous journalist in the world... trying to make the world safer for the people he loves.

A black SUV sped towards a nuclear power plant, with people running out and as far away from the building as they could get.

"Here! Here! Here!" The car screeched to a stop and General Lane jumped out of the car. Stopping the first person he came across, he quickly called to them. "Hey! Hey, hey!" General Lane grabbed one of the workers arm to stop them from getting away. "How long we got before this thing pops it's top?"

The worker backed away but answered the general's question. "A few minutes, tops."

"The fall out?"

The worker continued to back away. "As far as Metropolis."

General Lane reached in to his pocket and pulled out his ELT and clicked the button. "Come on, Superman."

Superman was flying when he heard the signal. Superman quickly made his way to the power plant.

(When super hearing is used writing will be bold italics)

"The heat exchange is offline"

"Where's the damn water tanker?"

Superman landed inside, looking around and using his X - Ray vision.

"His cold breath isn't going to fix it."

"We need water back in the reactor vessel, or we're gonna have a meltdown the size of Fukushima."

"It's out of water!"

"Gas!"

Superman used his heat vision to seal the damage in the wall. Superman flew out of the power plant, over the water and used his cold breath to freeze the water, he dived into the water, freezing it, and lifted a big chunk of ice and carried it back towards the power plant, slowly lowering himself inside, to cool down the damage being done.

Superman landed outside where everyone was waiting. General Lane turned towards Superman. The crowd around Superman started to cheer and applaud. General lane walked over to Superman. "It's just like Oyster creek, same kind of crack in the cooling tower."

"How is it no one at either plant saw anything?"

Superman shook his head. "I don't know yet. But you can't get equipment in here unnoticed. Both cracks were manmade."
