That was the best kiss I've ever had. It was short-lived as hard and rapid knocks were heard all the way from downstairs.
"I'm sorry I have to get that," he left me there, with both heartbeats racing. I was in such shock that I ook the pads of my fingers and grazed my lips because they were tingling. And usually, when you're lips tingle you should get that checked out, but my lips were hot from the kiss but no longer had that rapid-fire running through them. The kind that ran through my lips But the good kind. The sudden loss of contact, had me shivering lightly. I got a 911 and I'll be there in a few texts from Willow signaling me to come over. I knew exactly what that meant and said goodnight to Valentino grabbing my stuff as he walked me outside. By this point, I had his hoodie on of course. Once I was outside so was Willow, looking a mess. Willow knew where I was because we shared our locations with each other. I was kind of upset my moment was a little ruined but this was my best friend so I guess it's okay. Willow eyed Valentino up and down suspiciously and I knew it wasn't jealousy because Willow literally has a fiancé.
"What's wrong?" I questioned observing Willow's messy mascara.
"I haven't cried this hard since I was outed at senior prom," Willow said.
"Do I have to get my baseball bat?" I questioned aggressively.
"Me and Cassie broke up" Willow expressed sadly. FINALLY. The moment I've wanted for years, I was happy for them but she was so toxic for Willow. Cassie takes advantage of the fact that Willow is alone in her life besides me and tried to steal Willow from me by telling her I was the toxic one. But I wouldn't budge, even when Cassie said horrible things about me which almost ruined the friendship.
"Shit man." I said with a "sad" expression trying to hide my smug, happy expression. And off to the bar we go.A/N: Super short chapter because the next one is an important one.
