No, before you all start, i'm not Elijah. That last line was Elijah replying to a woman who approached him on the plane. She asked him what his name was because she thought she knew his father? Whatever Betsy, any excuse to talk to the young man. Now your probably wondering how I know Betsy. I am Betsy.

No I'm completely joking, I just know everything, I have to. I am the one writing this book. Remember?

Elijah looked willingly at the woman as she asked 'Your father? He's Elliot Walls? If i'm right' She was right. Yet, Elijah replied 'No, sorry My father is called Simon.' He let out a short lived laugh. Furrowing her extremely thin eyebrows, she let out 'Oh, you must be a look a like. Anyway, sorry for the bother. Have a safe flight..' As she began to walk away Elijah replied ' Yeah, you too.' Returning to his book.

He hated that question, it was almost as if he was used by certain individuals so they could get a grasp at his father like he was a golden ticket. And believe me, that was the last thing Elliot would be compared to. Elliot was a strange individual, he claimed to be a great and loving father around those who knew him, but inside the family home, Elijah couldn't remember the last time he had actually had a conversation with his own father.

So, whenever somebody asked him about his father, he denied it. Shot the accusation down as soon as possible before anybody tried to pry.

As he returned to his book, he cupped his hand around the sleeve of the takeout cup and took a sip from the hot beverage. Staring at the screen of the computer, elijah sat. Debating on weather or not to sign into his dreaded emails. In this case, he thought 'hey, why not, i've still got 4 hours to kill on this flight.' Reading through the emails that had been filtered to a section branded 'JUNK.' Many of the emails were regarding his father, asking how he was doing, what his next plans were, the weirdest question asked was where his favourite restaurant was? Like, who even asks that question!

Anyway, this. This was the reason he denied any relationship to his father.
