Frostfur went to the high rock to announce a clan meeting.
"All cats old enough to catch there own pray gather below the high rock." Frostfur announced . Within seconds the bottom of the high rock was filled with cats.
" I have gathered you here today so we can assign a new deputy, I say these words in front of Snowstar body so that he can approve of my chose." Frostfur began . " With the powers of JumpClan the new deputy is Strongclaw." With the announcement that he was the new deputy the senior warrior walked over to the side of the high rock. Frostfur leaped down to the grassy floor to talk to Sootheart .
"Tomorrow you should head to the star stone in Jump mountain ." Sootheart meowed .
"That's what I was thinking ."Frostfur meowed back.
"I will prepare the traveling herbs for you ." Sootheart purred
" Alright, Sootheart . "Frostfur meowed .
She never thought even when she was a kit that she would be the clan leader, nor did she want to but it was tradition for the deputy to become the leader when the leader dies .
