" Welcome, Frostfur." Everyone said calmingly " Are you ready to receive your nine lives?"

"Yes, everyone" Frostfur said in awe. "I am ready." Frostfur stepped forward graciously, excited, nervous, and curiously.

Loudpaw stepped forward to face Frostfur, excitement rushed throughout her veins.
"With this first life I give you courage." He touched noses with Frostfur " To defend your clan with the courage of a lion." She felt a sharp coldness in her body, stunning her for a heartbeat.
Loudpaw turned to go back to his place in the crowd of cats.

Spottedheart was next to rise, she moved to Frostfur.
" with this second life I give you justice". She said calmly, like the cool winds of leaf-bare" use it to balance The Clan, give everyone a fair chance."
Spottedheart touched noses with Frostfur, sending another icy jolt through her body. Spottedheart turned back and sat next to Loudpaw.

How can I possibly bear this?She thought.

A small orange kit bounced towards Frostfur, Flamekit.
" with this life I give you tireless energy and effort" he squeaked " use it to do your duties as leader." Frostfur bent down to touch noses with the tiny kit, a third rush of ice flowed through her veins, not as sharply cold as the jolt before. He turned back to sit down.

Next was Whiskerclaw. He padded to Frostfur. " With this forth life I give you loyalty" he meowed softly." Use it to guide you're Clan through all times." He touched noses with Frostfur, and yet another icy jolt of energy when through her body, not as painful as the three before. " You doing well Frostfur, keep it up." He said in almost a whisper, and turned back to sit.

Brighteye stood up and padded over to Frostfur. "With this fifth life I give you mentoring." She said " use it to teach the young cats of the Clan." She felt a small icy jolt, then Brighteye turned to sit down in her spot.
