Russell was taking a walk around the school field, with his friend Erin by his side chatting.
"what are you doing after school?" Erin asked, resting her bat on her shoulder. "I don't know, just chilling in my room like the usuals," he said.
"well, do you... wanna go to the skatepark with me?" Erin asked
"Oh hell yeah!! I haven't done skating in a while! what time!?" Russell cheered
"wait? you want to go?.. with me?"
"Yes, you're awesome at skateboarding!" Russell praised Erin, who replies with a slight pink blush over her face and tries to hide it
"uh th-thank you. We can meet up at 5" she said
suddenly, Russell spots a black notebook on the grass
"huh? a notebook laying on the field? weird" he thought out. Russell picks up the notebook, it was titled "death note", he flips over the front cover to see if anyone's name was on it. Nobody's name was on it
"nobody's name on it," he said, flipping to the first page. The first page was something written about "rules"
"What is it?l Erin asked trying to take a look at the notebook. "There's nothing written," Russel said, flipping over pages, no writing
"And who would drop their notebook here?"
"Oh well I'm keeping it, it looks brand new to me."
{After school}
When Russel came home, he rushed to his bedroom, took out the notebook from earlier, and threw his backpack on his bed. He sat on to his desk and placed the death note.
"Death Note.. how to use it... " He read in his head.
•The human whose name is written in this note shall die.
•This note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name.
Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.
•If the cause of death is written within the next 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.
•If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.
•After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
"That is what the rules explained. "No way... This Death Note can kill anyone without touching them? Is this a joke?.. Maybe I should test it, on who? I can't take an innocent life... How about a criminal?"
Russell takes out his phone to search for wanted criminals and finds one, Zachary Harrison, who is wanted for robbery and murder. He watches a video of Harrison, catching his face. Then he grabs his pen and writes down his name.

"Now let's wait to see if it's true what the book said. If it's true, maybe I can tell Erin about it?.. No, she doesn't need to know. Well time for my date with Erin"

Erin is a tomboy but still has a feminine side. She's sporty but also likes makeup and other beauty care Russell is 19 years old, Erin is 18 Russell is into spray painting Erin and Russell are in love and shows it later on Zachary is 24 years old, he dies obviously
