Summer is finally here to sing.
Time for the joys that sun will bring.
Its time to just lounge out in the heat.
With waves crashing down at your feet.
Birds will finally leave the nest.
In place of their much needed quest.
Squirrels with scurry out of their tree.
Now that they are all so free.
Time will stand still if just for a while.
For moments are spent all with a smile.
Laughter will ring out to the sky
The air is filled with dreams to fly.
