"People use your family's sins to punish you for something. It's sad but what can you expect from humanity?"

Talk: Bek when he has an armor equipped(A/N: Since Bek is Black, he will use the N-word, a lot, so will other Black characters in this story. I recommend leaving if this bothers you. That and Dark and Dirty jokes will be in here. So again, leave if this bothers you.)
3rd pov
The scene starts with a park full of children. Each child plays happily as their parents talk among themselves. One mother and son duo stand out the most in the entire park. The mother seems to be a Caucasian woman of average height with short spiky brown hair and blue-silver eyes. Her attire consists of a gray crop top and short denim skirt with a pair of black tights with red sneakers. She also seems to be wearing a black leather jacket with a red interior and a strange red symbol that's about two sizes too big for her. Next to her is an African American child with blue eyes and shiny white hair. This woman and son duo are Dana and Bek Mercer. Dana notices the sad look on the boy's face.
Dana: What's wrong Bek? Don't you like coming to the park?
Bek sighs and looks at other kids playing. All of them are spending time with their fathers. Dana notices this and slightly recoils back at the 7-year-old's line of sight. Not out of disgust or hatred, but fear. For as long as Bek can remember, it's always been him and Dana. Every day he greets her and every night she tucks him in for bed.
Bek: Where's Papa? How come we never get to see him?
Dana gently grabs Bek's hand and leads him out of the park. The young boy gives no protest and follows his mother.

Eventually, the duo reach their home, which is a medium-sized house big enough to fit 4 people. Dana sits down at the kitchen table with Bek in front of her. While Bek looks confused, Dana looks like she's ready to cry an entire river.Dana: Bek, I have something important to tell you.
Bek: What is it ma-
Dana: I-I'm not your mother.
Now this hits Bek incredibly hard. For as long as he could remember, Dana treated him like a mother would a son. For her to say something like this hit him incredibly hard. Bek has tears welling up in his eyes, which makes Dana immediately regret what she said and comfort him. Bek wastes no time in embracing Dana, he doesn't care if she isn't his mother, he just doesn't want her to hate him.
Dana: I didn't mean it like that, but I'm actually your aunt.
Bek: T-then where is my m-mama?
Dana looks down in sadness and hugs Bek tighter. Bek notices and braces himself for the bad news.
Dana: Your mom and dad died. Your mother was murdered and your dad killed himself to save us.
Bek: W-when?
Dana picks up Bek and takes them to his room. There, she sits down with him and takes a deep breath. Dana then looked at the crying child with sadness, hoping this would be something he asked when he got older.
Dana: Well, a group called "Blackwatch" came and killed your mother while she still had you in her womb. From what Alex told me, his DNA triggered in you and it's what allowed you to crawl out yourself. Here.
Dana gives Bek the jacket she always wears. Bek remembers that she really liked this jacket since it came from someone close. Bek puts it on but it's too big, making Dana giggle.
