Y/n's pov
"Are you serious", I asked crossing my arms. "It's best for everyone in Zaun", Sevika replied. "Betraying Vander? You really think that's the way", I scoffed. "I knew you would fuss about this", she said rolling her eyes. "I'm not fussing just I never even heard of this guy what's makes you think he'll come up with a better solution", I questioned. "Vander has become weak he's not fit to lead us anymore", she answered. "Anyone who believes we should fight back is fit to lead us at this point", she added. I could see it in her eyes she was hellbent on working for this Silco guy. I never really formed a relationship with Vander. I saw him from time to time when he spoke with Babette. Even so I was alright with having him as the leader of the underground, he basically built this place after all. What if this person Sevika is talking about ends up ruining this place or get her killed.
"Is that what you really believe", I still asked looking away. "It's the best option for everyone", she answered grabbing my face forcing me face her.
"For us", she emphasized in a stern tone. I stared deeply into her eyes as she released my face. I looked away from her knowing I couldn't convince her not to do this.
"Do what you want then Sevika", I sighed crossing my arms. I refused to look at her still annoyed with her choice. I was alright with her betraying Vander just the fact what she's doing is going to get her killed. I heard her heavy boots turn around, skidding up some dirt and began to walk away from me. The sound of footsteps stopped then became louder with each step now coming towards me. I felt her grab the side of my face forcing me to look at her. She slammed her lips on to mine. I wanted to push her away, but her kisses are just so addicting. They would always beat the cigarettes, pipes and whatever drug product created.
I kissed her back my passion mixing in with her hunger. Her hand moved down to grip my chin as she slowed down the kiss then broke it. I opened my eyes seeing she had a smug smirk on her face making me chuckle dryly.
"Just be safe... and come back to me", I mumbled. "..I will", she said rubbing my chin then released it and turned away. I watched as she walked away from me until she disappeared into he alleyways. I walked back inside grabbing the watering can then closed the door behind me I walked over towards my greenhouse. I grabbed the doorhandles and opened it walking inside. The huge fan on the ceiling made loud whirring noises. I walked up to each of my babies giving them water they needed. Every flower in my greenhouse was poisonous, deep inhale of just being in here could kill a person. I stopped in front of one specific flower.
Toxicus Amor
An elegant flower. On the petals the tips were midnight purple. The purple faded into an old gold color straight into the middle. If you were far away you would think the center of the flower gave off a small light; the light would make people think there was gold inside of the innocent looking flower. I placed the water can down on the table then began gently petting the poisonous flower. My finger tips rubbed against it's prickly smooth petals. One whiff of this flower you could make someone go crazy, a normal person specifically. I leaned down to take a huge whiff; it had a sweet pungent type of smell. I leaned back up smiling down at the flower still caressing it. My smile dropped quickly when I thought of Sevika.
"You better come back to me Sevika", I said. I stopped petting the flower to grab the watering can. I poured some water onto it then moved on. Being born in the the deepest and toxic filled part of the undercity can come with some perks.
