After another great show Freddy heads over to his room, ready for the children to walk in for their "Autographs". In line he notices a very familiar face, Gregory smiling and running up to him. He pulls out his paper and shows it to him. My room ok?

"Well hello Super Star! I see you are excited for your autograph. Here!" Freddy goes over the small message with his signature making sure the ok can still be seen. Gregory happy with the answer, heads over to Vanessa and grabs his nightly backpack with his snacks, new laptop and the week's clothing.

A few Weeks Prior

Freddy still was curious about how much Vanessa knew about the Animatronics. The first few weeks after the incident, she still didn't believe they were sentient. It took a lot of convincing from Gregory. Those first weeks, while happy for Gregory, made him miss Freddy a lot. Freddy had been one of the first few who treated him kindly and even more treated him fairly. He had been scared that Vanessa would go back to her "Vanny" personality and that maybe this "perfect family" was just a dream ready to turn into a nightmare.

Vanessa would run into Gregory's room finding him crying and hyperventilating from his night terrors. Getting chased by Roxy, the crunch made by Chica's head from the trash compactor, that split second that almost seemed like Monty would get him even when he was missing half his torso. Or his nightmare would switch over to Vanessa in her Vanny outfit and Freddy broken to pieces underneath her.

Vanessa would always have to wake him up, remind him that he was ok now and that he could see Freddy soon. Over a dozen times this happened she figured she would try to "talk to Freddy" to see what she could do to help Gregory.

"Freddy... Can you really understand me?" Vanessa stared at him as Freddy sat still in his room. She tried to look for movement. She knew she had to get some reaction from him. " If you really are... sentient. Say something... or I will never bring Gregory back."

Big mistake.... She saw those light blue eyes turn red. Freddy instantly grabbed her arm.

" You hurt him and I will make sure that you are decommissioned and forgotten."

Her blood ran cold. Never seeing this side of him.

"I... I was just trying to get some reaction from you. I won't hurt him I swear. Do you think I would have adopted him if I wanted to hurt him?"

Freddy's eyes turn back blue and he lets go of her. He looks back at his hand and her slightly red arm.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. It's not in my programming to do that."

"Oh stop with this programming talk, the gig is up. Gregory told me... well tried to tell me about you guys. Either you have some serious, almost futuristic AI or something else. Anyway, I need your help. Gregory can't sleep due to nightmares and is constantly asking for you. He hasn't been enrolled yet but I found an online school he can go to. His assignments would be due certain days and he would only have some classes where he has to be on video chat. I've cleaned out my old hideout and set it up for him to stay when I'm on duty and can stay around during the day. I need to trust you to help care for him when he's here."

Freddy's ears perked. He could see Gregory again? Could he help him?

A second chance....

"So now you believe him? Do you really think a robot can help?" he questioned her logic for a second but stopped and let out a sigh.

"If you think this will help Gregory I will do my best. I can make sure he keeps with his studies and possibly help with those nightmares you called them?"

Vanessa rubbing her arm wondered if she was doing the right thing. This.. thing literally just threatened her and she could see how easily it could hurt Gregory but also saw that deep down there had to be a reason it was like this and she would get to the bottom of it. She knew it had to do with her "Vanny personality" and she wants nothing more to find out why that happened.
