Andy, Luke, and Vic came back.
I had my Firefighter jacket, pants, boots, mask, and Oxygen tank ready.
I plopped my helmet on my head.
I got in the back with Andy.
"Hey."
"Hmm?"
"What if we got married again?"
Her eyes drifted over to me.
"A fresh start."
"Okay."
Luke laughed.
"Don't start."
"I'm not saying anything."
"But you want to."
Vic was laughing.
"Did you guys even get your Marriage license on your Wedding day?"
"Ow!" She commented when Andy smacked the back of her head.
"We're not hitting people except Ruiz."
"Vic punched him in the face because of this shit he was saying on Dad."
"Humph! She's not allowed to as Captain but I sure as hell am allowed to hit him."
Ripley
I drove us to the ring store, Littman Jewelers.
"Gonna get our rings." I told her.
"I'm so excited." Vic told me.
"Hello." A jeweler greeted.
"Hi." Vic greeted.
"How are you?"
"Good. How are you?"
"Doing good."
"We're actually gonna look at bands. He said he had one picked out."
"He's got something in mind already?"
"Yes."
"That makes it even easier."
"What did you like?" She asked me.
"What do you think about that one right there?" I questioned Vic, pointing at a Wedding band that had diamonds on it.
"Now, see, I think that's beautiful." The jeweler gave her opinion.
"Oh, yes. I like it, Luke."
"You like it?"
"So, this is what we want to go with?"
"Yes."
"Okay. And yours?"
"He likes the darker ones. Something like the bottom one."
"Like this one?"
"Something like that, yeah."
The jeweler pulled it out.
"Alright, well, if you like it, it's good enough for me." I gave Vic my opinion.
"Yes."
"Boy, you guys are just--"
"Easy?" Vic questioned.
"Got it all together. Absolutely. You are set. We thank you very much."
"Alright. Thank you." I thanked her.
"Wish you guys the best."
I took the bag from her.
