Lexis p.o.v

July 2007

"Why do you have to go?"

"Mum made me cause dad got a job "

"I'm going to miss you"

"I'm going to miss you more "

"I made you a present so you won't forget me "

He hands over a painting of two blonde haired kids playing football in the mud

"I'm going to miss your face"

"Miss yours more"

"Come on Lexi we have to go" my mum calls

"Coming mum"

"Love ya lukey"

"Love ya Lexi bear"

That was 9 years ago I haven't seen him since

"Lexi you will be late come on"

I pull my heavy bags down the stairs and chuck them into the back of the car and I excitedly jump into the passenger seat and text my best friend tenna

"You ready for the best summer of your life"

After a couple of seconds I get a reply

"Hell yeah I'm pumped"

"K I will be there in a sec"

We arrive at tenna's and I call out to her she basically falls out of the door as one of her large bags gets caught in the doorway

She places them in the back of the car and hopes in the seat behind me

"Ok let's get to the airport"

A long annoying plane flight later we arrive in Sydney where tenna and I are greeted by Auntie Liz

"LEXI honey you're so big wait till Luke sees you he has been talking none stop about you getting home for a while"

"I can't wait to see him either"

"Oh and also he has Michael Calum and ash over so he wants to introduce them to you"

I look over at tenna and she looks like she's about to faint she is totally in love with my cousin and the band when I told her that she was going to be spending the whole summer with him she almost died I'm pretty sure she was more excited than me. We get to the house in around 20 minutes and I leave my bags in the car for the minute I spot two tall boys in the kitchen pigging out on some food

"JACK, BEN" I run and leap at them

"Hey Lex how have ya been"

"Amazing but I really missed you guys heaps" I turn and see tenna standing behind me

"This is tenna my friend who's staying here for the holidays"

"Hey" they both say in sync

"Hey" she replies

"I don't mean to be rude guys but where Luke is" I ask impatiently

"That losers down stairs with his friends I will talk to you later we're gonna go out for a bit"

"Righto See ya guys after I guess"

I race down stairs and see Luke and the others obviously in a very intense game of fifa because they don't hear me or tenna at the door

"When we get in there fan girl as hard as you can about 5sos ok we are going to scare them so bad"

"Ok that should be easy"

"Ok ready 1 2 3 "

I slam the door open and scream as loud as I can

"OMFG IT 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER HAVE MY BABIES YOU SEXY MOFOS"

I hear tenna beside me squealing to

"OMG CAN I HAVE A PICTURE WITH YOUR SEXY FACES"

Luke falls off his chair Calum throws the controller Ashtons chucks a pillow at us and Michael dives behind Calum tenna and I about die laughing

"LEXI BEAR" Luke yells as he runs over and twirls me around "how are you"

"Good, good, how about you loser how have you been and by the way this is my friend tenna"

Before he even answers my question he starts talking to Tenna, he's never been good at talking to girl I capsule always tell when he gets nervous because he shifts his wait from leg to leg

"Hi" Tenna says

"Hi I'm Luke"

"Yeah I know I'm a big fan"

He  loses interest in me completely and just talks to tenna so I introduce myself to the guys

"Hi I'm Calum and this is Ash and Michael"

Wow the drummer is hotter than I thought

"Hey I'm Lexi I'm Luke's older, smarter, better looking and all round superior cousin"

Ash speaks up

"We can see that if I didn't know any better you guys could be twins"

"Yeah we used to get that a lot"

Calum and Michael go back to fifa Lukes obviously head over heels for tenna so it just leaves me and Ashton talking

"So Lexi are you into bands like Luke or what?"   Ash says starting to make small talk so it doesn't get awkward

"Yeah I don't mind them I guess"

"I'm was just wondering do you prefer drummers or guitarists"

I roll my eyes

"What does it matter ? I like your Kurt colbain shirt by the way"

"Thanks I love nirvana"

"Yeah there cool I don't mind them"

Ashton pauses for a minute

"Would you find it terribly horrible if I asked you for your number?"

"I don't think that would be horrible"

He passes over his phone and I give him mine

I type in my name as 'Lexi the sexiest person ever ;D'

He passes me back his phone and see his name is 'ashton the dinosaur"

"Thanks"

"No problem"

"I have to drag these to lovebirds away from each other so I can get my bags"

"Um yeah okay we'll talk later I suppose or we don't have to it's up to you " he starts getting flustered and rambling

"Well I'm not exactly going anywhere.Come on tenna we have to get out bags" I yell

"Ok I'm coming"

She says goodbye to Luke and we leave to get our bags as we are going to the car I pull out my phone

New message to Ashton the dinosaur

I definitely prefer drummers
