Death and Rebirth

~{POV: Lendrik}~

It's been a few months since Navalia was lost to the void. Her teammates tried going after her, and were lost as well. The sentient lifeforms have been killing tenno left and right ever since. Me and my teammate Krindo have been exploring Deimos, when we suddnly see all the creatures cower in fear, as a figure rises from the mist. Krindo and I prepare, when suddnly, Krindo is knocked out of Umbra. They are immediately stabbed... through the heart... That's it. I'm killing the Stalker.

~{POV: Krindo}~

I feel the pain in my torso start to fade, as I lay in pain. I suddnly feel the pain fade, as I sit up. My body... feels off. My bones aren't mine. Neither is this body. But, before I worry about that, I need to figure out just what I am. I stand, I think, and try to look around, but I don't appear to have any eyes. Well, that narrows it down. I feel the ground, and it feels fleshy. Am I still on deimos then? I walk around, occasionally tripping, and I make it to a tree of some sort.

???: "Umbra! Where are you going!? There isn't anything over there!"

I hear footsteps approach, and I try to figure out where I am. Suddnly, I am picked up by something metallic, and carried for a short while.

???: "Umbra, put it down. It won't help.

The thing carrying me, presumably an Umbra, starts to make noise. I can't exactly make it out.

???: "...Fine. But you're gonna have to train it yourself."

I feel a circular piece of equipment be equipped around my neck. Or, I think it's my neck. Did... did they just collar me? I follow, and soon hear the sounds of multiple tenno. Huh, so we are atleast in a city. I am brought up some stairs, and onto a metallic platform.

???: "Lendrik. I presume that Krindos Umbra wants to keep that? Here."

Lendrik?! So wait, how long have I been- OW! What was that?? I suddnly feel something all around me. I see rough outlines of people, made out of tiny dots. Spores, maybe? I use them to view myself, and see that I'm a vulpaphyla. I'm not a sly vulpa, as I don't have those horns. But, I do have a long tail. Perhaps I'm a panzer? I feel another sharp pain, and I'm soon able to see colors. Yep, that's them alright. I start attempting to make noise, and I use one of my front paws to swat at Umbra. I then run to the ship, to see that Lendrik changed his colors. I hop in, and try and find something of mine. I find my old noggle of Titania, a warframe that I've always wanted. The noggle was my prized possession.

Lendrik: "Hey! Put that down!"

I do so, and I point at it, then me, using my paw. Lendrik doesn't seem to notice, as he puts back the noggle, next to the lotus helmet. I pick it up, and run with it to the place I always used to put it. At the top of the operator chair.

Lendrik: "Hey! I just said... to not... how... how do you know about them..?"

I point to it, then me. It, then me. It took him a moment.

Lendrik: "Krindo..? Is... is that you in that Vulpaphyla?"

I nod, and attempt to get down. As soon as I do, however, I trip and fall. Lendrik comes and helps me up.

Lendrik: "Man, it's been a tough couple of months since you died. I lost Mesa to Zanuka, Umbra is the only one able to help me right now. C'mon, let's get you back to your own colors."
