I woke up to my older sister Janelle telling me to wake up my sis Gabby for school." Kamila you need to start getting ready now remember it's your first day at a new school," she said yelling loudly, she must in the kitchen.
"Me wake up," mi say still laying down with my eyes closed telling myself just 5 more minutes, but I know I won't wake up again so me just get up.
So you're probably wondering why I'm going to a new school my sister got a job in Clarendon so she teaches English, so we did affi move fi mek it easier.
She's the only parent- figure in my little sister's life and mine. Our mother died I don't remember her much but I've heard things and my father is out of the picture that's what I was told growing up, from then Jan has been taking care of us. We lived comfortably in a three-bedroom apartment with a nice living room, kitchen, and bathroom fully furnished.
"Gabby get up," I said looking at myself in her mirror damn I look horrible, I wiped the mouth water off my cheek, I can tell by the marks on my face and hand that it was a good sleep.
"A Monday already," the big woman says turning on the bed almost fi drop off, she no really like school, she does her work n things but who likes school??.
"Yes," I said yawning mi would a eat a cow now.

After me done r hair and mine and then we bathe n everything, we put on our uniform. She attended Clarendon college it wasn't her first day she never had to change school but I had to it really didn't matter I didn't have friends r anyone just bad memories I'm glad for the change maybe this school will be better.
I was going to go to Edwin Allen High in Frank field.
We put our school bags on the couch and then we eat cornmeal porridge when Gabby says "so uh excited Kam", I really wasn't but I answer her anyway "kinda" I replied I was just sipping until my stomach couldn't hold anything more.
Mi no really plan fi know nobody, I don't want what happened at my old school to take place again.
Janelle came back dressed up and ready for school too, in her business casual clothes, she had her hair in an afro, she looks really good, I'm jealous of the students that get a beautiful, enthusiastic and caring person like her.
"Watch teacher," Gabby says wid porridge in a r mouth she get all the thickness, I'm slim so is Jan but she looks like she a put on weight pon r ass.
"Jan you look nice," I said, hot like fire, n she single, maybe she's too busy taking care of us and working she doesn't have a life of her own, its sad, her charming will come one day tho...i hope
