4K POV

Goddammit, where the fuck is the book....

I look behind the bookshelf that koii is sleeping behind, then through all of the shelves and in the chests, I've looked everywhere

"Looking for something.." I hear from behind me, "this book has some pretty interesting things in it..where'd ya get it?" I then around and see Koii holding the book I was looking for, "give it to me." I say trying to threaten them

"No, I don't think I'll do that.." They say opening the book to a certain page, "/⏁⍜ ⎎⟊⍀⎍☍⍜⟟⟟ ⏁⍜ ⌰3⌇⊑⊑⊬⊬_"

Then they disappeared....

"No.....NO...GODDAMMIT....." I say before teleporting away

Shy POV

"Icey! Come here!" I say walking behind the bar after setting something up outside, "yes papa?" Icey says while climbing the ladder with shroomie following, "we need to put stuff on the wounds again" I say picking him up and sitting him down on the bar, "ok! Can shroomie stay?" Icey asks looking down next to me, "sure, if they want to he can"

"I'll stay.." Shroomie says grabbing my arm, "ok, I need to grab the healing potion, gimme a sec" I say walking behind shroomie and standing on my tippie toes, trying to reach the barrel with the healing, then I hear a gasp from behind me, "k-"

I hear icey try to talk but he gets cut off, I ignore it and continue reaching, then a hand opens the barrel and grabs a healing potion, then drops it in my hand, I turn around assuming it was Evan, but I see.....

"K-koii....?"

"Hey, " They smile and open their arms for a hug, their sweater is dirty and torn at the sleeves, "did ya miss me?" They say

No one's POV

Suddenly in a flash, Shy and Koii were on the ground, Shy tackled them onto the ground with a hug, "Y-you smell f-fuckin' nasty..." Shy saying in-between sobs, "thanks dumbass" Koii says sitting up with Shy still attached to him, "how the fuck did you get out?" Shy says still crying, "magic, literally" koii says pulling a book out and holding it up, "where....Where the fuck did you get that" Shy says snatching the book away

"What do you mean? From 4K, why?" koii says curiously

"This is my moms..." Shy says opening the book and going to a page about some sort of dragon, "my mother wrote this book, she made sure to put a seal on it...before she...." Shy says looking at the picture in the book

Koii POV

"Is that her?" I say pointing at the photo in the book, "yeah...she was pretty cool huh.." Shy says wiping tears from his eyes

"Yeah she looks awesome.."

"Papa.....we got a letter?" Icey says running in the pub, "wait when did you leave?" I say attempting to stand before I feel Shy grab my arm, "stay here, Icey come here" Shy says looking over the bar Slightly, "ok papa!" Icey says running over

"Here!" Icey says handing Shy the letter, "what's in it?" I say looking at Shy

"I don't know yet, I haven't opened it" he says looking at me and opening the letter, "who's it from?" I say trying to look at it

"Kainquin....."

"My mother..."
