I woke up to my alarm as usual, at 5:30 am.
My nose captured a delicious smell all over the room; at first, I just sighed delighted, but then I remembered I'm hosting a 14th century king with little to no clue about modern kitchens.
I flew out of bed and ran to the kitchen, ready to see it burning down.
"Chan! Are you oka-"
"Hello DaEun"
There he was, perfectly using the stove, cooking something that still smelled delicious, with just his pants and no shirt. He really has to stop doing this to me. I quickly remembered last night's situation and couldn't help to feel a little embarrassed, but shrugged it off quickly.
"Mind explaining why you're using the kitchen without supervision?"
"I know, don't get mad. I couldn't sleep so I sat and stared at the window the whole time, but then got bored of that so I saw some books by the table and read them."
"That doesn't explain why you're using the kitchen, like at all."
"You're impatient."
"Only if you make me impatient."
"Anyway, impatient lady, between the books I found a little one, which smells weird by the way, and realized it had instructions for this thing so, I studied and applied it."
"You read the manual for the stove and learned how to use it in just hours?"
"Yeah"
"You, a king who's never seen an electric stove?"
"Mhm"
"Damn, okay. I'm just grateful you didn't burn my apartment with me in it."
"Relax, nothing's gonna happen"
"And I guess your shirt got stained again?" I walked to the kitchen drawers
"Yeah.."
"Here" I opened one and gave him an apron. "This is to avoid getting your clothes dirty. You can stain this as much as you like... and I only have pink so don't complain"
"why, what's wrong with pink?"
"Um..." I forgot all these stupid stereotypes came after, "Nothing, don't mind me."
"You... hungry?"
"Yeah, actually" I smiled, "Let me go get a shower first." I walked back to the door frame. "And can you p l e a s e, put something on?"
"How come it only applies to me?" He cheekily looked at me up and down. I frowned at his comment, until I looked down and realized I was in a big sized shirt and panties only. I immediately covered myself and ran back to my room. I could hear him laughing out loud.

"Same as yesterday, I'll send you some food. Please don't-""Burn down your house, sure"
"I- ... yeah, that."
Once I arrived to work, I entered the elevator and pushed the 5th floor button. Not long after, I remembered I wasn't going to work there anymore, so I pushed the 11th floor one. At 5th, the doors opened, but no one came in, of course.
As they were about to close, a hand stopped them, making me flinch.
It was mr. Hwang.
What is he doing here? He's never been seen here before, but I chose not to question it and just bow.
"Good morning"
No answer, of course.
We walked silently towards his office, and as usual, he opened the doors for him only. I walked to my own little office, to find it all messed up and dirty. I had arranged it nicely yesterday, and the only explanation was very simple.
