I Am Pregnant

LEAVING HOME.

The next day, Eva decided to meet Andrew and tell him about the pregnancy. She had her bath and went downstairs. " Good morning, Eva come have your breakfast" one of the maids said.

" I'm not hungry I'll be back soon" Eva said and hurriedly left. " that girl is becoming wayward" another maid said. " shut up mila if boss hears you you're fired" the first maid said. " whatever I'm just saying my mind, last night I heard her crying to her friend about something I think its pregnancy" Maid mila said and immediately the other maid covered her mouth. " shut up" She said.

" let me go" Mila struggled and was finally free. She hissed and left.

  At Andrew's place.
   Maria and Rita were in the kitchen cooking when they heard the door bell. " I'll answer it" Rita said and stopped what she was doing.

" hey come back here and continue I thought you said you wanted to get my recipe" Maria said and Rita continued. Maria opened the door and was surprised to see Eva. " Eva good morning what are you doing here this early?" Maria asked. " Good morning, can I come in?" Eva asked. " sure" she said and they entered. Rita heard voices and decided to come out.

" Eva what are you doing here" Rita asked. " Is Andrew home?" Eva asked " no why do you ask?" Maria asked and Eva started crying. " Eva what's wrong why are you crying?" Rita asked rubbing her back. " Eva tell me what's wrong did Andrew hurt you? talk!" Maria said while Eva kept on shaking. " I-I'm p-pregnant" Eva said and the both of them gasped. " what?!!!!" Andrew shouted at the door way. " what do you mean you're pregnant? how come?" Andrew said while furiously grabbing her hand.

" Andrew leave her, Eva are you sure about what you're saying?" Maria asked. " yes I did a pregnancy test and it was positive" Eva said while more tears dropped. " there must be a mistake nowadays the pregnancy test they sell these days are fake" Andrew said. " that's not true I did it and also had one done in the hospital and it was positive" Eva said. " well that's not my child so when you're done with your drama, you can get out" Andrew said and left. " Eva dear are you sure?" Rita asked. " yes I'm sure I haven't slept with any other guy only Andrew I swear" Eva said

" so that's why you were acting strange at the hospital" Maria said. " I'm sorry I was stupid can you please forgive me" Eva cried with her head lowered. Maria looked at Rita and then smiled, she made Eva face her. " Eva look you don't have to cry, I know you feel ashamed but this baby is Andrew's whether he likes it or not you don't have to worry OK" Maria said. " hmm mm " Eva said and cleaned her eyes. " did you tell your father" Maria asked. " no I can't tell him, he will be mad" Eva said. "Eva you have to tell him you can't hide it for long" Rita said. " I'll try" Eva said.  Maria escorted her until she reached her car and drove off. Maria returned back and met Rita stirring the soup. " Maria do you believe Eva?" Rita asked.

" why do you ask?" Maria said.  " you know about Andrew's current situation, how can Eva be pregnant" Rita said. " you're forgetting that Eva isn't that kind of girl and it takes courage to come here" Maria said leaning on the counter. " but what will happen now Andrew rejected it" Rita said and maria sighed. " don't worry he has no choice anyway" Maria said.

    When Eva got home she met her dad in the living room tapping his fingers on the couch arm. She smiled and walked up to hug him but she stopped her. She was surprised and noticed that there was something he was holding. " Eva are you pregnant?" Her father asked. " Dad" Eva called. " don't call me that! answer my question, are you pregnant? and don't dare lie to me" Mr Clement said angrily. " dad I can explain..." Eva said with tears in her eyes. " answer me are you pregnant or not?!!!" he shouted in anger.

" yes I am! I'm sorry" She said and fell on the ground. " how could you do this to me? why did you decide to disappoint me after every thing I've done for you, Eva what have I not done for you? why did you do this?!!" he shouted making Eva tremble. " I'm sorry I know I'm a disgrace father I'm so sorry" Eva said.

" I promised your mother I'll take Care of you but what will she think when she sees you like this, so if the maid didn't go to your room to clean, you would have hidden it from me" Clement said hitting his hand furiously on the couch chair.

" boss is really angry mila why did you have to snoop into her room?" The maid said.

" to prove that Eva is becoming wayward I did the right thing" mila said and continued watching the drama from the kitchen's patio.

" look at me when I'm talking to you" he shouted. " I'm sorry father please forgive me" Eva said crying heavily. " who is the father?" Clement asked and Eva faced up. " answer me who is the father" he shouted again. "A-Andrew L-Luck" Eva stuttered and her father gasped.

" that good for nothing boy? Eva I told you to stay away from him" He said roughing his hair. " I'm sorry" Eva cried. " don't tell me that!! you know what?? I want to out of my house!!" Clement said. " what?! father you can't do this to me, where will I go? dad please" Eva begged holding on to her dad's leg. " I am not your father and this is not your house go to the father of the child and stay I don't want any disgrace in my house, maids get her bags she's leaving right now" Her father shouted and all the maids went to her room and packed her things." Father please don't do this... where will i stay? please don't do this" she said grabbing unto his leg . he pushed her forcefully and she fell on her tummy. her father jerked but when he saw her up, he changed his attitude. she cried begging her dad but he didn't listen soon the maids were back with her bags. Her dad took it and threw it outside. " now get out" She said pointing out the door.  she stood up and cried her way to the door. When she was out he closed the door on her face and she fell down and cried.

" where will i go to?" she cried and called Betty. " Eva i'm sorry my mum is around and she'll freak out if she finds out you're pregnant" Betty said over the phone.  " thanks" Eva said sadly. " Eva call me when you find a place to stay ok" Betty said. " ok bye" Eva said and continued to cry. she sat down at the garden area waiting for anyone or her dad to come out but no one came out. Mr clement made sure no one left the house. he saw her from the upstairs balcony and he sighed. He sent someone to check on her every five minutes.

When it started getting dark, Eva decided to leave, she picked up her bags and left. Clement saw her when she left and sighed. " i'm so sorry Matilda  she got out of hand because of me i spoilt her too much" he said looking at the dark sky.

Meanwhile Maria, Rita and Andrew were in the living room watching a movie when they heard the doorbell. " I'll get it" Andrew said.  He opened the door to see Eva standing there with her bags he noticed her swollen red eyes. " what are you doing here?" he asked looking at her head to toe. " is Maria home?" Eva asked. " why are you looking for her and why are your bags with you?" Andrew asked drawing the attention of the two girls inside. " what's going on here?" Maria asked and saw Eva. " Eva come in" Maria said and  Eva came in with her bags. " what are you doing here? answer me!!" Andrew shouted. " Andrew stop raising your voice at her, Eva dear whats wrong why are you here?" Maria asked calmly. and Eva began to cry. " will you stop being a drama Queen and answer her" Andrew said harshly.

" my dad found out about the pregnancy and kicked me out of  the house" Eva said still crying. " its ok dear stop crying please" Maria said. Andrew rolled his eyes. " i don't have anywhere to go can i stay here please" Eva asked." hell no! I don't want any liability" Andrew said and Maria looked at him. "Andrew ever since you were born you have never contributed a dime in this house so how is she a liability" Maria asked. " you know what? do whatever you want to do but don't bring her or this child in her belly close to me" Andrew said and left.

" Don't mind him Eva we are happy you're here now we can take care of the little angel inside you" Rita said. " thank you so much i really appreciate" Eva said. " no we should be thanking you " Maria said. " i don't understand" Eva said. " Never mind now where will you sleep" Maria thought out loud. " we can't take her to Richard's room he's coming back tomorrow and you know how he is when someone is in his room" Rita said. " i have an idea" Maria said. " don't tell me you want her to stay in the same room with Andrew" Rita said. " yes of course, Eva let's go" Maria said and carried her bag. " Maria i don't think it will be a good idea Andrew doesn't want this baby" Eva said.

" Eva leave the worrying to me i know how to handle him" Maria said while the were climbing the stairs. They reached Andrew's bed room and Maria opened it. Andrew was on his bed when he saw the door nob move. " what is this" Andrew said but Maria ignored him. " Sweetheart this is your new room".
