The movie was entertaining, funny even, the weird part is that you found yourself laughing breathlessly at it along with Junpei. Yuuji fell asleep.
You liked watching movies, it was a thing you used to have with your mom every single night. You would laugh, cry, fall in love with a handsome actor or even get angry at the bad plot.
You realize that watching a movie with Junpei was somewhat similar like watching them with your mom. Junpei wouldn't shut up and you found it kinda cute that he would comment every now and then and give you fun facts about the movie. Like,
"Do you know that xxx actor is dating zyx?"
"No way?! Him!?"
To which he would nod furiously and laughed about your impressed reaction.
It was all an act.
In your defense, he is making everything pretty easy for you. You were pulling the strings of this entire summer training, Junpei was your ticket out of Geto's suspiciousness. You didn't care if he died, right now you only cared about Itadori.
The only thing you lament about all this plot, is that this will break him but you convinced yourself that this is the only way you could protect him. If your cover was blown, then you wouldn't know if they planned to do something to him, or Megumi, or any of your friends.
Junpei is just collateral damage. He is just a price to pay, a sacrifice that you were offering for the sake of protection. For your friends and yourself.
It's been 2 weeks since you all started hanging out. Two weeks since you've broke Junpei's walls. You all get along now and spent your days watching movies, talking about them, playing lame baseball cause Yuuji likes it and occasionally getting some coffee around the area.
You definitely knew that Junpei still kinda doesn't like you. In fact, he was jealous of you. Your only guess was because Yuuji's attention would only be on you most of the time so you noticed that whenever Junpei had the chance, he would switch the conversation about something only him and Itadori could talk about. Leaving you out of it.
Of course, you this made you angry and left with a petty want to get back at him twice as bad. You knew that if it wasn't for Yuuji, you would have Junpei crying and begging for you to stop torturing him. You smiled at the thought.
