KITTY SITTER

The cold air hits your face as soon as you open the car door. You step out, your house waiting in front of you with bright windows.

"Thank you for the ride," you say, tucking your arms around yourself to protect Runa from the cold. She was still nestled behind your jacket, taking in your warmth and enjoying the sound of your voice. "I had a ton of fun tonight."

Iwaizumi walks over to your side of the car and closes the door. "Thank you for coming over," he pulls you into his chest, squishing Runa between your bodies. "And thank you for hearing me out."

He pecks your lips before linking your arm through his. "I should say thank you, too," you lean your head on his shoulder as he guides you to your front door. "To be honest, I'm not sure how relationships work."

"Me neither," Iwaizumi mumbles, his breath forming small puffs in the air. "I guess we learn along the way." He unlinks your arm and takes a few steps back. After finding the perfect view of you, he takes out his phone and opens his camera. "Stay there, I wanna take a picture of you."

You give him a confused look. "What? Now?"

"Yeah," Iwaizumi says in a 'duh' tone. "Is there a problem with me wanting to take a picture of my beautiful girlfriend?"

Girlfriend. The thought still had yet to wrap around your head, and everything felt like it was happening too fast. But after having your conversation with him back at his condo, you finally got to clear the air with him. Your heart flutters at the thought of dating Iwaizumi—if there was one person you wanted to experience the ups and downs of a relationship with, it would be with him.

"Fine," you say, and Runa's head pops up from the collar of your jacket, her body still pressed against your chest. "My hair looks crazy though."

"I don't care!" Iwaizumi holds his phone up, capturing you in frame while your front door becomes the backdrop. "Smile or do a pose or something."

Runa rubs her nose against your neck, and you open your jacket slightly before pulling her out. She instantly starts to shiver. "Just a quick photo," you whisper to her before pressing your cheek against hers. "Okay, we're ready."

"Alright, three... two..."

"Take the damn picture already, we're freezing!"

"One!" You have time to switch poses as he continues to hold down the button. You kiss Runa's cheek and hold her up in the air. "Keep changing poses, you're doing great," Iwaizumi says when you lean your head against Runa's. You bend your leg in the air and toss your head back while pressing Runa against your chest. "You look crazy."

"You told me to keep changing poses!" You drop your leg and swing it towards the camera. You twirl a few times, and Iwaizumi captures the blurry photos. When you feel Runa shivering in your arms, you open up your jacket and place her inside, tucking her against your body. You look down at her eyes, her green irises capturing the light from your house.

Iwaizumi, who was still looking at you through his camera, captures the scene of you looking at Runa. "Perfect."

"Lemme see!" You shuffle towards Iwaizumi, and he shows you the photo of you looking at Runa. Your face was partially hidden due to your hair, and the lights from your house added a warmth tone to the picture. "That's actually really nice."
