26) God's Angel?! / Worried Sid

Author's Pov : -

In the Amritsar city of Punjab , the prestigious Senior high School's one of the buliding was set on fire .
The school had a small ground but three buildings , built up opposite to each other .
Thankfully , the buliding that was currently on fire didn't had any regular  classrooms rather extra curricular activities classes and that too of the higher senior students .

Somewhere in the building , in the stairs that connected the roof and the third floor , a girl was stuck crying her eyeballs out for the fact that the way that lead down was blocked .

They say during the hard suffocating times when nothing seems to be at place , God sends his selected angel to clear out the whole mess .
The case here wasn't a penny different .
Shehnaaz was given another chance to live when she heard her newly made friend , shubham's voice .

"Shehnaaz ? "  He shouted .
The girl who was desperately waiting for someone looked on the either side , with a Hope. 

"Shuuu...shubham "  she cried out . Her voice stammered as those words left her mouth .

"Hey.Hey ...don't cry .. i m here nothing's going to happen to you .. okay ? " 
He said in his voice filled with concern .
Shehnaaz nooded her head positively .

"Listen to me ..  there's no way for you to come down as the way is blocked .. so do as i say " said Shubham .

"Okaaayyyy" said shehnaaz .

"Jummppp !!!! " Shubham said .

"What ? Shubham yeh tum kya bol rhe ho ? " Shehnaaz said in utter shock .

"Trust me shehnaaz i won't let anything happen to you ... Do you .. do you trust me ? " Asked the God's send rescuer .

"I .. i don't have any other option rather to trust you "  said shehnaaz .

"So do as i say .. Please ... Do you see the window beside you ? "

Shehnaaz looked at the window beside her on the wall and again looked back at shubham with her confusing black eyes .

"Jump from there " said Shubham taking a deep breath .

Tear rolled from Sana's eyes and her eyes widened .

"Tumhara dimag khrab hogya hai kya ? Mai yaha se kaise kud jau ..and if I do .. i would die for sure "  shouted shehnaaz .

"Relax shehnaaz ! Look down ... "  Shehnaaz looked down from the window and saw the whole school 🏫
The students , the teacher's , the principal , the vice principal and a few more people in a typical uniform that she couldn't recognise until it hit her mind that they were the cops .

At last she saw a huge cart that's usually found in the circus .
Am i joker ? Thought shehnaaz But now she was sure that even if she would jump nothing will happen .

In those crowd of people her eyes looked for only a single person who wasn't seemed to be found anywhere .
Shubham spoke making her come out of her trail of thoughts

"Now .. are you ready to jump ? "

Shehnaaz nooded her head and spoke
"And what about you ? "

"Don't worry ... The way is fine from here . I could go downstairs . You just jump shehnaaz ... " Said Shubham .

Shehnaaz opened the window .
With all the courage that she had in her she climbed on the window and for the one last time she turned around her face and looked at the person , her rescuer shubham and passed her a small smile . Shubham too reciprocated with a little smile covering his face and gestured her from his eyes to jump and that she could do it for it was the only option left .

"Areee iss bache ko uthao koi " said a lady that came infront admist all the crowd that was gathered around Sidharth on the road .
Sidharth was so unconscious and blood was oozing out from his forehead with his bike over his legs .
The other bike person ran away when he saw Sid lying unconscious on the road .

A group of men came infront and removed the bike from his legs .
One of the lady called the ambulance .

For almost about half an hour later it was in the hospital bed when Sidharth opened his eyes .

His head ached . But all his pain faded when he remembered about shehnaaz being inside the buliding caught on fire .
He immediately stood up .
The doctor and nurses tried to stop him but he didn't listened .

" Beta .. Kahan Jaa rahe ho .. tumhare saer pr chot lagi hai .. you need to rest " said the doctor

"No ... No ...no ...sheh ..shehnaaz ... " Stammered Sidharth .
His voice was breaking . He was sweating out of fear .

"Shehnaaz .. shehnaz ko kuch nahi hoga .. shehnaaz ko kuch nahi ho skta ... "  He murmered to himself and searched for his phone inside his pockets but couldn't find it .

Sidharth looked at the nurse and asked
"Mera .. mera phone kaha hai ? " 

"Tumhara phone toot gya hai .. dekho tum rest kro .. aur apne parents ka number do .. unhein yaha bula lo ... Tumhare saer pr chot lagi ... Vo toh acha hai ki tumhe yeh log hospital le aae Varna agar jyada khoon beh jaata toh kuch bhi ho skta tha ... " Said the nurse .

Sidharth didn't care nor did he payed attention to what had the nurse said instead all he was worried for was shehnaaz .

"Call krna h mujhe .. phone do " said Sidharth .

The nurse gave him her phone and Sidharth dialed his friend's number but it went unanswered .

Anger rushed down his spine as his friend didn't pick up . If it would have been his phone , it might have been in pieces by now but Sidharth gave it back to the nurse .

"Mujhe jaana hoga .. shehnaaz .. mai usko kuch nahi hone de skta ."
Sidharth Said to himself .
He removed the drip and stood up . The nurse tried to stop him but he didn't listen and royally ignored her .

Sidharth wasn't able to walk properly as his foot was hurt but didn't care .
