Chapter two- "Meeting the new CEO"

-The next morning-

Gregory POV:

I heard my alarm clock going off. Ugghhhh, why do I have to get up? It's Saturday! The Pizzaplex is closed! Wait.. I have a meeting with the new CEO today, shit!

I jump out of bed and run to the bathroom seeing that Vanessa was already awake and ready to go. I make my way into the bathroom and brush my teeth and make my hair look at least a little better.

Once I was done, I ran back in my room and put on my uniform, checked if I had everything and ran to the kitchen where Vanessa was waiting for me. "Finally! I've been waiting for you for 30 minutes!" "Vanessa we don't have time to argue right now!"

With that I ran out the door and started making my way to the car "What about your breakfast Gregory?! You didn't eat anything today!" She said running after me. "Food is for the weak!" With that I opened the car door and got into the drivers seat, Vanessa getting in next to me into the passenger seat.

The drive to the Pizzaplex was rather silent, and even if Vanessa would have said something, I was too focused on the road and get there in time. I pull up in the parking lot and we both get out, I lock the car and we both head inside the Pizzaplex.

Vanessa opens the door and we walk in, and surprisingly, Freddy is waiting there, leaning against the wall just staring at the floor.

"Freddy!" Vanessa called out to him sternly, that seemed to get the giant animatronic bear's attention "You're supposed to be in your room powered down!" "Well, I'm not, officer Vanessa. Hello Gregory! We're you able to sleep properly?"

He asked as he made his way over to me and embracing me. "Yes, thank you Freddy, no nightmare this time!" I reassured him as he let go "That's great to hear!" He beamed, ear's moving up and down, showing his happiness.

"What's with the attitude Fazbear?" Vanessa asked rather annoyed. Freddy turned around to meet her gaze "What's wrong Vanny? Can't handle that you're not boss and can't push me around to do your tasks?" Uuuuu, that was not expected from Freddy.

"Don't you ever, compare me to that murderer!" And then they started arguing, again-. I let out a sigh and stepped between them and stretched my arms out, both ways to create distance between them.

"Please, stop, both of you! ... Freddy, you're clearly stressed, tell me, what happened?" I turned to him while waiting for his answer, he just stared for a few seconds, surprised that I managed to read him like an open book. ".. it's nothing to worry about Superstar"

"Da- Freddy, if it wasn't important than you wouldn't be acting like this plea-" *cough* *cough* Freddy's head perks up, "Mr. Cawthon and my creator! I apologize for not noticing your presence earlier" he bows down, which was.. unexpected to say the least.

I turn around and see a Man with a short brown haircut, and another person next to them with also brown hair and formal clothing, but the most interesting thing was the white bear mask on his face, how did they see out of that thing?

His hair was also longer then the Man beside them. "Please Freddy-" the masked male, judging by his voice at least, spoke up "-I told you not to call me 'creator', just call me Michael" he continued. "My apologies, Michael" Freddy said while returning to his standing position.

"Ah! Officer Vanessa! I haven't seen you in some time" he spoke once more "yes, it's been awhile, how have you two been doing?" She asks with an actual nice attitude "we've been doing okay, is that Gregory?" He asked pointing towards me "yes! That's him!" "Alright, thank you Vanessa, you may leave now."

And just with that, she dragged Freddy away into the Pizzaplex, once they were both not in ear shot anymore the Man spoke "It is a pleasure to meet you Gregory, my name is Scott Cawthon, I'm old CEO of Fazbear entertainment, and this is my son, his name is Michael, as you already found out"

He spoke calmly, Michael giving me a small wave "I-i'm sorry I haven't spoke, I couldn't really prepare myself mentally on meeting the old and new CEO of the place I work at" I said nervously "it's not a big deal, Michael, dear, should we tell him what's going on? Get straight to the point?"

"Yes. May I father?" "Yes, definitely, if there's anything I'd like to ask I'll just do" Michael gave his father a nod and made his way over to me. "Alright Gregory, before we go and try to fix the animatronics, I want to explain some things to you" it was very hard to read his intentions since he wore a mask, that was kind of scary, I've never liked the S.T.A.F.F. bots because of this, there was no emotion on there faces

"Alright sir, what did you want to explain?" "Well, my father wasn't the first CEO of the Fazbear entertainment, his brother was, my real father" "may I ask who that was..?" "William Afton" he said with disappointed in his voice.

Wait! But that's the guy of the past murders! "Wait! B-but he's-" "I know" he cut me off, now I understood the disappointed I his voice. "Once he went missing I tried to correct what my father wronged, I'll explain what I mean by that in more detail later"

"Yes, I found the stressed guy, and since I'm his brother I was the next person that could take the CEO position of this company-" Mr. Cawthon spoke up "-I helped Micheal where I could, and adopted him since he clearly needed a father figur-" "father thank you. Gregory, I've done research, I know about your past"

"Don't worry, I'm not mad, I'm proud. You're really brave, you remind me of my little brother... but before we continue, I want to show you something" was really in shock on how much he knew, barely muttering out a 'sure'.

Then, he slowly raised his hand up to his mask and it off.
