Chapter one- "Nightmares"

This chapter has spoilers to one of the endings in security breach! I will mark the beginning of the spoilers and the end of it!

-A few years later-

Gregory POV:

Can't believe it's been years since that night, I'm 17 now, Vanessa and I have been trying to stop the disappearances. No luck so far sadly, she also realized that the animatronics become hostile at night except Freddy.

I've been trying to fix them but the computers say there's nothing out of place in them. I'm currently on my way to Freddy's room, I'm going to take a small nap and then talk to Vanessa, she said it's important.

I sneak my way to Rockstar row and nock on Freddy's door, I soon hear his footsteps nearing the door. He opens the door and as soon as he realizes it's me, a bright smile appears on his face "Good evening Gregory! Come on in!"

He stands to the side to let me in, the room is welcoming as ever. "Good evening to you too Freddy, how have you been doing big man? Did the concert go okay?" I make my way to the couch and sit down.

"I'm doing great Gregory! And the concert went great! But I got info that Sunrise and the kids went overboard with the glitter glue" I let out a small chuckle "Of course they did" "So what brings you here tonight, Gregory?"

"Well I came here to take a small nap, and Vanessa wants to talk to me afterwards" "Alright! Make yourself comfortable! I can wake you if you don't wake up in time" "Okay thank you Freddy" I lay down, of course taking off my shoes, and close my eyes.

What surprised me was the fact that Freddy brought a blanket for me and covered me in it "Sleep well Superstar!"

I wake up to someone shaking me. I manage to finally open my eyes and see Freddy, is the one shaking me awake. "Freddy? What happened? You look worried" "Gregory! Thank God you're awake! There's no time we have to run!"

With one swift movement, he picked me up and put me inside his chest cavity, wait... How am I so small..? What was happening? "Freddy why are we running? What's happening?" "The Pizzaplex caught on fire for unknown reasons! We have to get you out!"

I was in shock, what the hell happened while I was asleep, is Vanessa okay?! Before I could ask about it, Freddy opened his chest cavity and grabbed me, pulling me out and placing me down gently.

"The fire escape is open" he pointed to his left "you run forward, I'll be right there with you Superstar!" He said with a smile "But Fredd-" "NO buts! Go now Gregory!" He said, coldly this time, I knew he only wanted the best for me but I was still worried.

I ran to the rooftop and as I swing open the door I'm met with a familiar face, it's Vanny! We've been trying to catch her for so long! But for some reason I'm small, and I'm just frozen staring at her.

She picks me up, but before she could do anything I hear the door burst open. It's Freddy! "Vanny, I can see you now! I have new eyes!" She drops me and stares in shock as Freddy runs at her.

Everything goes so fast, Freddy grabs Vanny and starts running to the edge of the building. When I thought he'll drop her, he jumps off with her! I quickly run to the edge as tears started streaming down my face "Goodbye Gregory" Freddy called out.

That snapped me out of staring and I started quickly running down the emergency stairs. When I finally got down, I saw both of them, just lying the motionlessly. I make my way to Freddy and just start crying on him, then I noticed something in his hand.

It was a plushy of himself with a note on it. I took it and looked at the note.

Incase something goes wrong, and you're the only one to make it, don't be sad Gregory. I will always be in your heart, keep your head up, and continue this journey, I'll always be there to guide you.

I was sad and angry, this was all Vanny's fault! I picked the plushy and the note up and put it in my pocket. Now for who Vanny actually is...

I went over to her now corpse and slowly took her mask off

What.

The.

Fuck?!

It's Vanessa! How could she!?

Suddenly I had a wired urge to look to the rooftop, so I did-

What the actual fuck?! It's Vanessa! She's up there looking down at us! But then who's this Infront of me!?

My eyes shot open and I sit up grasping for air. What happened?!

I look around and notice Freddy and Vanessa talking to each other. "Gregory, is everything oka-" I cut him off with a big hug and start crying in his chest. "Gregory?! What happened?!"

I couldn't answer him for a few minutes, just crying. A little while later I explained my nightmare between sobs. "Wait!" I say quickly checking my pocket where I put the plush and note.

I don't know why I did it, it was just a dream after all, but it was so... Real. I put my hand to that pocket and froze.

It was there.. it was fucking there! I pulled both the plush and note out and showed the two. "How the fuck is this even possible?!" Vanessa asked "Language, officer Vanessa!"
Freddy quickly cut in.

While they were arguing I went deep in though, if this wasn't an important dream then obviously I wouldn't have got these items. So it's 100% important! But what could it mean?!

What does it mean that I saw 'two' Vanessa's? Maybe a sister? Or twin? I need to ask her later. And why was the building on fire? Freddy in my dream said he couldn't identify the problem.

Maybe I could check it out late- "Gregory!" Vanessa snapped me out of my thoughts "Yes? Sorry, I got lost in thought" "yes I noticed, come on, we'll talk about your dream later, I still want to talk to you" that's right!

"Alright, I'll see you later Freddy!" I waved while walking out "see you around Gregory!" He waved back as the door shut behind us. "Okay Vanessa, what did you want talk about?" "Well, we've tried to fix this virus thingy that makes the animatronics hostile, correct?"

I gave her a small nod "and because we've been failing so much the CEO contacted me and wants to talk to you, or his adopted son rather, since he retired and his adopted son took his place" Vanessa explained.

But.. what. On. Earth? The new CEO wants to talk, to ME?! "Wait, why does he want to talk to ME?!" "Calm down Gregory, he knows these animatronics better then himself, he just wants to teach you" oh great.

What can go wrong..?
