"Hi!" Malakas na loob na bati ko at kiming napangiti nang bumaba ang tingin niya sa pusa na nakasilip sa bag na hawak ko.

Magulo ang buhok nito at naka simpleng short at black shirt lang. Hindi ko alam kung kagigising niya lang or he's just sulking.

He have the rights to sulk tho.

I saw how his eyes soften when the cat made a gesture when Laurence held his hand to the cat.

The cat handed his little paws to him kaya tuluyan na iyong kinuha ni Laurence bago pa tumingin sakin.

Him carrying the cat like a baby is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

"What?" Masungit na sabi nito.

Saglit kong pinunasan ang pawis na namumuo sa may noo ko at bumuntong hininga dahil sa wakas, gumaan ang bag na dala ko.

"Let's talk?" Masuyong tanong ko

Nakakunot ang makapal nitong kilay. He motioned his head to the house before walking inside.

I think he invited me inside.

I frown when he closed the door before I even entered. Binuksan ko iyon at nakita siyang naglalakad sa sala.

I caught sight of Hen, his cat, walking towards him. I walked towards them and tried to hold Hen. "Hi, Hen hen" I whispered

"He's Henry"

Ibinaba ko ang bag ko sa gilid at umupo ako sa sofa. I held Hen again. "C'mere, luv" I told the cat.

Who's sane person will call a cat Henry?

"Akala ko ba maguusap?" Tanong niya nang maipatong ko si Hen sa hita ko.

"Traitor." He whispered and eyed Hen

"He's Tres" I said referring to the black cat.

Dinampot niya si Tres at umupo sa sofa. Kinandong niya din ito gaya ng ginawa ko kay Hen.

"Why not Mars?"

I frown. "Really? Planet?"

"And three in french."

He still have this firm voice. Ang sungit pa rin

"I want tres," I said and pouted. "But Mars is good too." Sabi ko at tumingin sa pusa. "I think he'll like it" Mapait na dugtong ko

"I'll ask him later. Why are you here?"

I automatically made a weird look. "You'll ask Tres?" I asked.

"To Mars." He corrected. "And you talk to your books, stop giving me that look" Umingos siya

I pressed my lips together. "I just want to ask you for a date.." Mabagal at nagaalangan na sabi ko

He looked at me with his mouth gaped, saglit ring nawala ang pagkunot ng noo niya. "Date?"

I wanted to notice his red ears but I dared not to.
