The Twist

Chapter 3

Officer Derek,planned on killing Jennifer and Melanie with no mercy. Officer Derek doing research and asking local people, found out where both Jennifer and Melanie were going to go next. Jennifer and Melanie, taking a shortcut, were now in an old,empty lot heading to an ammo shop. Jennifer was talking to Melanie when she suddenly stopped walking and talking. "What's wrong?" asked Melanie. Melanie figured out what Jennifer was looking at. In the middle of the lot was, Officer Derek. Officer Derek then shouted so both can hear him "Jennifer and Melanie I will kill you both as revenge for killing Officer Stacy!" Melanie then said to Jennifer "Is he really going to get revenge on us by doing that for a dead woman" Melanie said with a chuckle. Jennifer hearing what Melanie says gives a smile and a chuckle she than shouts back to Officer Derek "So by killing us you will feel better and also be done with your revenge,well that seems pretty stupid" Jennifer said laughing after what she said. Officer Derek then said "Well if that's what I have to do then yes I will kill you both." Jennifer then said to Melanie "well looks like he really wants to kill us,so let's put some excitement into thid fight of doing that". Jennifer then shouts out "Then let's see what you can do". Both Jennifer and Melanie pulled out their gun and pointef them to Derek. Officer Derek seeing what they were going to do calls reinforcements and says to himself "let's see how easy this is going to be" with a smirk. He then pulls out his gun and starts to shoot at Melanie multiple times noticing that she was the weakest. Jennifer laughs at Officer Derek and shoots at him. Officer Derek seeing that Jennifer has her attention on him shoots uncontrollably at Jennifer trying his best not to get hit by the bullets. Jennifer tries to get away without getting hit. With all the bullets heading towards Jennifer's way, she's having trouble getting away. Jennifer then slowed down and threw a knife at Officer Derek's shoulder. Derek almost falling back was able to keep his balance and shoot Jennifer in the back. Jennifer tripping says to Melanie, "Melanie,hurry up and help me" Jennifer said angirly. "Let her go,she's to far" an officer yelled in the back as other cops show up. "I will catch her and I won't stop" Derek replied. Jennifer turned around and shot many bullets but only a few hit Derek."Just go get the one over there" he commanded while pointing at Melanie. The other cops go chasing after Melanie. "I can't stop" Derek yelled as he started to slow down. Jennifer tried to move as swiftly as she can so she won't loose breath. Derek tries to shoot Jennifer in the back but instead it hit her thigh. Melanie on the otherside tried to shoot Derek in the arm but misses and gets arrested by the other cops. Derek shoots again at Jennifer and hits her in the arm and leg. The leg injury made her fall to the floor. Melanie who thinks she's super smart escaped with a swiss army knife and a paper clip. When she steps out the car, a police sees her and put her right back in. On the ground, Jennifer pulls out another gun and aims for his chest but it hit his leg and he fell. Jennifer threw more knifes at Derek thinking she could escape. Jennifer is screaming in pain. Bleeding endlessly, Derek throws a crow bar and hits Jennifer on the chest which makes her fall back. This time she knew she couldn't escape. Jennifer was on the floor trying to breathe correctly while Derek was panting for air. He grabbed his handcuffs while saying "Finally,I got you." Jennifer remembered that she had gotten something when she was on the run so she tried to stall. "Stalling won't help just stop fighting and we'll get you medical help" Derek told Jennifer. Jennifer starts to laugh uncontrollably as she starts to make Derek freak out. Derek got his gun and held it to her head. Jennifer continues to laugh. Derek pulls the trigger and many bullets were heard. Everything then turned silent but there was a twist.
