"So why me?" The brightly-maned male asked curiously, his eyes locking with yours with the intensity of never wanting to look away.
"Because in my eyes, you are a star," you sigh softly. Reaching out delicately, you tucked a stray strand of his hair behind his ear, touch lingering just a little longer at the skin where his ear met his jaw. "And in the solar system, it is the stars which keep planets tethered in orbit, forever revolving and attached."
Lowering yourself down, your lips ghosting his in an almost-kiss, his breath hitching just slightly in unanswered anticipation. "Maybe I'm enamored with the idea of being your planet, spinning and spinning around you..."
He kisses the whisper of the word 'forever' against your lips and you can't help but feel the universe smile just a bit.
