ASHTON;
My life was a mess, I was a mess. The only thing that came good out of me was my friends, Michael and Calum. I made a mess everytime and everywhere I went. Currenly, I live with my grandmother in a small apartment, I don't know who or where my parents were. Do I care? Not a bit. I didn't care to know who because the past memories are too hard for me. I didn't even like to talk about it with my friends. My parents left me because I wasn't good enought for them. Done deal.
I met this girl, though. When she was in front of me, or laugh or even look at me, everything seem to fade away. Every memory, thought, and feeling. Everything was right with her around and I lvoed it so very much. It was one of the reasons why I asked her to this stupid party. I wanted to see more of her and see more of her smile.
I ran my fingers through my curls walking up to the party. Haylie and I seemed to have same outfit once again. I thought it was quite funny and cute that we thought alike. My eyes kept finding their way to her.
Her brown hair was in a pony tail, her tanish skin looked soft, her face had this expression on her like she was nervous about something. She kept playing with the hem of her top, and biting her pink bottom lip. She was cute, and I knew then I would be making a fool of myself tonight.
"You know, you don't have to be nervous. I'm here and I won't leave you behind." I assured her with a smile. She looked up at me, blushing. God her blushing was beautiful.
"Thank you for inviting me, I just, I'm not nervous about the party. I'm actually nervous I'm going to make a fool of myself tonight." She told me. The words kind of shocked me. I just reached out for her hand and tangled my fingers through hers.
"We'll be complete fools together, darling." I told her smiling. I squeezed her hand before continuing my way towards the dancing bodies. I pulled her behind me making sure I didn't lose her in the crowd. Her hand kept squeezing mine making my heart race.
I finally came up to the kitchen after walking through the body party in the living room. Michael's house is huge, and it would take forever for anyone to clean this shit after the party is over. I turned to look at the girl I brought with me. She was already staring at me.
"Uh..do you want anything to drink..?" I asked her rubbing the back of my neck.
"Yeah, a beer if you got one. " I nodded to her answer then made my way to the drinks. I grabbed to bottle neck beers. I came back to Haylie and found that Michael found his way to her.
"So you did find your way to my party? Cute." He smirked at her and was so close up to her face. She looked annoyed but then her eyes met mine. She was happy to see me or most likely the beers in my hands. I handed one to her then looked up at Michael.
"Hey Mikey." I said with a smile, but inside I seriously wanted to kill him. Even though this might not be a real date but I wanted this night to be perfect.
"Oh, you brought her? For real? Ash, I thought you were bringing Ashley or some shit. Not the bakery girl." He laughed, and it seriously pissed me off more.
"No, and her name is Haylie. You must be drunk or some shit because you're being a real ass. Fuck off why don't ya?" I told him then took Haylie's hand walking her outside to the backyard. Taking in a deep breath, I then looked over at Haylie. Her green eye shined brighter than the stars. She was looking at me, with a smile on her face. She looked so beautiful at that very moment.
"Thank you, Ash..for that. He was being oddly annoying." She told me, making me feel much better about myself. I knew Michael would ask me tommrrow what happened tonight but at that moment, I didn't give a shit. This girl standing in front of me was perfect and I needed her.
I leaned forward, bringing my face closer and close to her's. I could feel her mint breath on my lips, and everything in that moment was amazing. I stared in her eyes, then bite my lip wondering if I should even kiss her, if she would kiss me back. As soon as I was about to, someone bumped into me, making me mover away from Haylie.
Luke. The guy I hated the most, the guy who always steals the girl I wanted or needed. He always seemed to get in my way of my love life. He would steal the girl then leave her broken hearted. I fucking hated him.
"So why is a girl like you here with a guy like him..?" He took her chin into his hand, looking into her eyes. Then something shocking happened. She slapped him away, then pushed him out her way. She then made her way towards me, grabbing my hand.
"Because a guy like him, is actually the guy who won't be a heartbreak boy.." she told him then pulled me away. "It seems that at parties we run into weird people who piss me off."
Then at that moment, I knew I would fall very hard for this girl...
