Chapter 15

*Kara's outfit*

After sitting by the lake with Tyler I couldn't help but feel guilty. I shouldn't have sat that close to him with his arms around me; and I defiantly shouldn't have liked it. Omg I'm the worst girlfriend there is. I wasn't even cheating on Kade but somehow I still felt like I was.

I needed some serious girl time so I called up Kara.
"Hey Blair! What's up?" Kara asked as she picked up the phone.
"Hey are you busy right now?" I asked.
"No why?"
"I need girl time! Do you want to go get some coffee or something so I can blab about my problems?" I chuckled.
"Of course! I'll meet you at Seth's family's cafe in ten?" She asked.
"Sounds good! I'll see you then!"

Not long after I had hung up the phone, my phone vibrated with a text message. I didn't bother to look at it since I was driving. I was a pretty safe and cautious driver. Call me a grandma driver or whatever but hey at least I'll be safe or at less risk.

After I pulled into the parking lot I looked at my phone to see who the text was from. I didn't recognize the number.
Unknown: Hey it's Tyler, I was going to see if you wanted to hangout this weekend after the wrestling tournament?
OMG this is bad. I shouldn't want to hangout with him or be near him, but it's like I need to be. I was freaking out already but then there was a tap on my window that startled me.

I looked up to see Kara smiling at me. I quickly got out of the car, "Hey Kara! Thanks for hanging out with me!"
"Of course we're going to be like best friends now!" She said pulling me into a hug.

"So how was Oregon?" She asked as we made our way into the cafe. "It was good, a rough start with Kade and I but now we seem to be great!" I smiled thinking back to Kade. I really liked him. A lot.

"Hey Blair!" Layla called out waving at me. Next to Layla was an older woman. The women looked like she was Layla and Seth's mom. Her features were similar to Seth's but her hair was the same as Layla's with a few graying hairs.

"The usual for you?" I nodded a smile on my face, she remembered my past couple orders. Layla was really sweet and Seth talked about her a lot. You could tell he really looked up to his sister when he talked about her.

After a quick introduction to Mrs.Perkins and Kara and I getting our drinks, Kara, Layla, and I had sat down by the fireplace. Since Mrs.Perkins was here she told Layla to go and hangout with us.

"I just feel so guilty! I shouldn't like when Tyler touches me and is around me, besides he can be such an ass sometimes!" I exasperated. I had just told them everything that had happened between Tyler and I.

"I don't know what to tell you Blair, I think you might like Tyler!" Layla said, "I agree with Layla." Kara chimed in.

"But I love Kade!" I whined. I did love Kade! Especially after the party that we went to over the weekend. He had treated me so well, I knew he was someone that I would want by my side for the rest of my life.

"Maybe he's just your replacement for Kade." Kara said. Layla and I both looked at Kara with a confused look.
"Like maybe since you can't see Kade everyday your using Tyler to be your "Kade" since you can't be with him in person!" Kara shrugged.

Thinking about it, she could be right. Maybe since Kade wasn't here with me I was using Tyler as my substitute Kade.

"You have a point!" I said taking a sip of my coffee. "Thanks for being here for me! I know I haven't been here that long and that we don't usually talk a lot but it means so much to me!" I said to Layla and Kara.

"Of course! I'm really glad your here! Don't get me wrong I love Jett, I do. But I can only handle so much of him I just need a girl friend to talk and hangout with... like this!" Kara smiled.
