It was a bright day, the sun was shining. Typical day. Like always. Nozomi was at the airport, getting back home to her parents. She was away for a month, because she had an internship abroad.
Because it was morning, she bought some bread, knowing that her mum loves fresh bread for breakfast.
She remembers even a time, where her mother got mad, because there wasn't fresh bread to eat.
She laughed as she kept going, and was really excited to finally see her parents, going upstairs laying the bed to chill a little bit out.
After about 15 minutes, she arrived at her house. It was a small, but a very comfortable lil house with 3 rooms. Hers upstairs. She knocked at the door, waited for a couple seconds, but got surprised that nobody opened the door for her. She knew that her parents were not at work at this day, they even took vacation for that day for her.
Again and again she knocked, but no soul was there to answer.
She called their phones, and got nervous as they would not answer it.
Suddenly one of their neighbours was getting out of her car and greeting her.
Nozomi asked her: "Mrs Okazaki, do you know if my parents happened to go out in the last couple of hours?"
Mrs Okazaki answered: "Hello my dear, no I havent seen them in a while! I am really sorry!"
As Mrs Okazaki went to her house, she took her phone and called at the workplace of her parents.
She called three times, after a while, a man took the phone and said " No, Madame, they are not here"
He hung up, she did not know that man, maybe a receptionist? Administrator?
She took everything that she had, threw it on the ground, and remembered, that the door in the backyard had a key hidden back there.
With a deep breath, she ran to the back, with shaking hands grabbed the key and tried to lock it open. She was shaking so bad, that the key slipped out of her fingers on to the ground. She grabbed it again, put it in the hole, and locked it open.
She went into the kitchen, step by step she got further and further, the light in the living room was on but she could not her a single voice.
She said "Mum, Dad?"
As nobody was answering, she knew something terrible is going on. She went to the living room, but with closed eyes. As she openend them, she saw blood stains everywhere.
The time stood still, everything turned black in front of her eyes. Here in front of her feet, both her parents were lying dead on the floor. Time stood still, everything black. The only thing she remembered was, that she was screaming until she fell unconscious on the ground next to her parents.
