Chapter 15

Lucy's P.O.V

We got to the base and saw the two new recruits. I recognized one of them. The one I recognized had dual-color hair, red and white. His name is Shoto Todoroki. I use to take care of him when he and I were both younger. He called me his older sister when it was just the two of us. I said, "Well if it isn't little Sho." He turned to face me and saw it was me. His eyes went wide as he ran over to me and hugged me. I hugged him back and said, "What are you doing here little Sho? And who is that little Sho?" He said, "My father took it too far. He killed everyone but mom and me. I couldn't stand it anymore so I ran away.

When I ran away I met him. His name is Izuku Midoriya. His mother died while protecting him and his father blames him for his mother's death and abused him." I nodded to him and asked, "Why do you want to become a villain like me and not a hero?" Shoto said, "I can't become a hero with him still around. He would make me train until I couldn't walk anymore. He would beat me for not using my fireside. He would want me to be better than All Might and I can't do that." Shoto pulled back so I could look at his face. He had bruises over his face. He had bruises over his body from the way he was acting. 

I narrowed my eyes and said, "I'm going to make him regret what he has done to you Sho. You have my word." I pulled back from Sho and walked over to Midoriya. Midoriya took a step back from me. I could tell he was scared of me. I stopped walking to him. I asked, "Why did you want to become a villain Midoriya? If you don't mind me asking." He said, "Because I need to prove to my father that I can be strong without a quirk." I nodded my head to him. I gave him a small smile before I turned my back to him and walked close to my brother and Dabi. Shigaraki asked, "What do you think of them?"

I said, "Well they both come from abusive homes. But I have to be honest if you want a true answer then you are going to have them under watch. You can't put me and the half-and-half kid together because I've known him for a long time." Shigaraki said, "Well the half-and-half kid can be with Dabi and you get the green hair kid." I looked over to Dabi. He nodded his head. I looked back over at my brother and said, "Alright the both of us are down."  He nodded his head. I turned back to Sho and Midoriya. I said, "Sho you are with Dabi the guy with spiky black hair and purple scars over his face. And Midoriya you are with me okay."

They both nodded their heads to me. I said, "Sho come here. I want to heal the bruises you have." Sho nodded his head and walked up to me. Once he was in front of me he stopped. I placed my hand on top of his head and used one of my quirks called healing manipulation. This healed everything on and/or in him. I removed my hand from his head. I turned to Midoriya and asked, "Hey kiddo are you hurt anywhere?" He shook his head no but I can tell he is hurt. I nodded my head to him. I wasn't going to force him to do anything he wasn't comfortable doing. This broke my heart that a kid like him was getting abused.
