It was a new year at Yancy Academy and Grover had been sent out to search for demigods at Yancy. He hoped that he could find a demigod from a minor parent, especially not after what happened to Thalia a few years back.
He ended up rooming with a boy named Percy Jackson.
Grover could smell the very strong demigod nature emitting from Percy, among an overpowering human scent.
"Hey, I'm Percy," said Percy. He was unzipping his suitcase.
"I'm Grover," replied Grover, also unzipping his suitcase.
Percy groaned and Grover looked at him, almost a little concerned.
"Damn it, I accidentally grabbed one of my sisters' shirts," said Percy. He was looking at a black shirt with some band that Grover was sure he heard of in his many years of scouting schools.
"One of your sisters?" questioned Grover. He figured that Percy's sisters were at least his half-siblings.
"I have two sisters," Percy explained. "We only have two rooms in our apartment, so my sisters got the room, while our mom and step-dad got the other."
"Where do you sleep?" asked Grover.
"Either on the couch or the floor of their room," said Percy shrugging. "We also share a closet, so their stuff and my stuff get mixed in together."
"Are your sisters coming here?" asked Grover.
Percy nodded like it was obvious, "Yeah. Our mom always told us that we have to protect each other, so..." He shrugged. "It's just us three against the world, if you will."
"I think my parents forgot to pack me something," said Grover. "Do you mind if I go to the office to go place a phone call."
"Go ahead," said Percy.
