I checked my phone and it is seven in the morning. Great time to leave.

I'm having trouble getting up since his arms are tightly wrapped around me.

Jordan : Where are you going?
Nessie : Home
Jordan : Why don't you stay and I can treat you with some breakfast out in the balcony with an amazing view of the city.

He kissed my neck trying to convince me to stay.

Honey, I don't get convinced with affection.

Nessie : Look buddy, you're good in bed but this stops now. This was just a one night stand nothing more.
Jordan : What if I want more?
Nessie : Oh well...

He's sweet but like I said- this was just a one night stand and nothing more.

Just a one night stand? No pretty one. I'm determined for more. This woman intrigues me.

Nessie : Yes?
Teresa : Do you know if Jordan is here?

Jordan : Why are you here this early?
Teresa : I can ask you the same thing.
Jordan : I don't owe you explanations.
Teresa : Jordan......can we have breakfast?

Teresa : Don't you think we should find a solution-
Jordan : Teresa listen, accept the fact this ship has sank. For the sake of both of us...
Teresa : I'm not going to give up on us. I made a promise I'd love you for the rest of my life. We both did!

Nessie : Hey! How's everything?
Caleb : Right now we're selecting who gets to model what.
Nessie : Nice!
Celeste : Hey Nessie! You disappeared last night. What happened?
Nessie : Oh you know....
Celeste : ...
Nessie : What?

Nathan : Hey Nessie!
Nessie : Oh you're here too?
Nathan : I just finished my shoot. What about you?
Nessie : I'm checking up on my designs with Caleb. The girls are going to model them.
Nathan : Wow look at you!
Nessie : -laugh-
Nathan : Do you want to grab some coffee or something?
Nessie : Yeah for sure!
Nathan : Great! I'm gonna go get changed and I'll meet you outside?
Nessie : I'll see you there!

Celeste : You were with someone last weren't you?

Celeste : I don't know how I feel about you and Nathan sl-

Caleb : Nathan and Nessie?
Celeste : Hooking up.
Caleb : I can see Nathan is into her.
Celeste : But she isn't into him.
Caleb : I don't know anyone who has dated Nessie.
Celeste : She dated this one guy years ago but it ended bad. That's why she doesn't want to commit anymore,

Nessie : I'll go order.

Nessie : I'll be back.

Nessie : Two iced caramel lattes.
Cashier : Total is $10.65
Nessie : Alrighty...

I slipped in the card to pay when suddenly-

Jordan : Hello there pretty one.
Nessie : Do I know you?
Jordan : Very well I'd say.
Nessie : Hm....I don't recognize your face.

I removed the card and tried walking away but he followed me.

Jordan : Two coffees? Are here with your boyfriend?
Nessie : I don't have a boyfriend.
Jordan : Does that mean I have a shot?
Nessie : A shot?
Jordan : With you of course.
Nessie : -laugh- No, you don't! I don't do relationships.
Jordan : Can I at least be your friend?
Nessie : I'm not friends with my one night stands.
Jordan : Then-

Honestly, it's very tempting. He is very tempting. I enjoyed last night...

I'm just scared of getting close.
Clearly, he wants something serious.

Nathan : Who was that?
Nessie : And old friend.
Nathan : Friend?
Nessie : Mhm
Nathan : You slept with him didn't you?
Nessie : Huh?!
Nathan : -laugh- I know you Nessie!
Nessie : You just called me a hoe.
Nathan : ...
Nessie : But it's okay because I know I am. Here's your coffee.

Nathan : Pretty good! Just the usual.

Nathan : On a serious note Nessie. Do you ever plan on getting married some day? Fall in love? Get married?
Nessie : Who wouldn't want that?
Nathan : You don't really talk about your future.
Nessie : I would love that but it's not something I see in my future. I don't think love was made for me. I don't believe in it.
Nathan : We are all meant to be with someone.
Nessie : That's not true. Some people die single. I'm going to be one of those.
Nathan : Oh come on don't say that..
Nessie : I'm scared of falling in love. I'm scared of getting hurt again. I'm not ready for the risk.
Nathan : Nessie, heartbreak is a part of life. Heartbreak gives you lessons that lead you to true love.
Nessie : Why are we talking about this?
Nathan : It's always nice to talk about the future.
Nessie : No
Nathan : Nessie...
Nessie : Let's change the subject yeah?

The future scares me.
Yes, I'm happy right now but will I die happy? Will I actually die single?
Is love worth it?

These are all questions I ask myself from time to time.

I'm simply scared...
