Will opened the door, still focused on the mission, and picking up more beer. When he saw Maeve stood near Ander, peering at the mission file with wet hair, he forgot what he was gonna say. She'd bent over to view something. Her fine ass begged him to grab it. Ander must've heard him open the door because his eyes flicked to him, disapproval plastered to his face. Will resisted the urge to return the look of disapproval back. She had a nice ass and currently it was pointed at him. It'd be rude not to appreciate it.
"I need to go grab some beer," he blurted out. Wasn't supposed to sound like that. Constantly sounded like an idiot around her.
"Now? Its really late," Maeve turned to him.
He almost laughed. Why would the time be a reason for concern? Normals were too funny.
"It is not really late for us," Ander chimed in.
She straightened up and looked at Ander, and gave him an expression of disapproval.
Will felt the corners of his mouth twitch with amusement. "Either way, I usually make beer runs before we get to work on a mission. Every mission needs supplies."
"Beer is a mission supply?" her eyebrows squished together.
"It is if you are Will," Ander said with mirth.
"Beer is part of the food pyramid, I think." Will dug in his bag for another pack of cigarettes.
"Are you going alone?" she asked in a tight tone.
"Yeah, mom I am. Cause you need a babysitter. We aren't at Mason's anymore. When we're on the road or on a mission, you're always with one of us. Can't take chances until we have more info on what the fuck is going on." Will walked to the door.
"Fine," she replied through gritted teeth.
Damn, she was sexy when she was pissed. Loved the flushed cheeks and the bright red spot that'd formed on her chest right above her breasts. Made him want to bend her over and fuck that attitude into submission.
"I'll be back soon, don't stress," he said in a softer tone than he'd intended.
"Don't take forever. We should go to bed soon, so you can get an early start."
Will opened his mouth to ask her what she meant but then closed it understanding. Ander's expression soured. Of course, she'd slept with Ander last night. That meant Will was up. The idea of sharing a bed with her made his stomach unsettled. He remembered every time their bodies had touched. Just the idea of her ass pressed against him made him hard. Didn't trust himself to speak, so he saluted and left.
