"It may seem as the hardest thing to do, but you have to forget the guy who forgot about you." -The Notebook
Chocolate. I was longing for the the delectable euphoric feeling of velvety, silky chocolate skillfully dancing its way along my tongue. I wanted it bad. I guess this was one of the many downsides to carrying a baby: cravings.
Resisting temptation, I trudged to the doorway where Olivia and Tommy were waiting. They were both packed and ready for their stay at Tommy's parents' house. I'd gathered that Tommy's dad was fairly ill yet Tommy himself seemed unfazed by this, leading me to believe that his dad's condition wasn't that terrible. Well, so I hoped...
"See you, Elle." Olivia wrapped her arms around me, encasing me in a hug.
"Don't leave me with him." I pouted and gave her puppy dog eyes.
"Don't look at me like that, it won't work." She shook her head. "Plus, this will give you both bonding time."
"Bonding time!" I scoffed. "No thanks."
"Watch, when we both come back, you'll be the best of friends." Tommy assured.
"Yeah, and pigs will fly." I glared at him.
An amused smirk traced his lips as he picked up his rucksack and slung it over his shoulder.
"Just, don't kill each other, yeah?" Tommy said.
"I'm not making any promises." I replied.
"See you later, Ellie." He waved and approached the door, as did Olivia.
"Bye." I smiled yet it was completely fake.
"Bye, Aaron!" Tommy called towards the living room where Aaron was.
"See ya, dipshit!" Aaron yelled back.
"Friendship goals." Olivia sarcastically said walking out the door.
They both left and I shut the door behind them before making my way towards the living room where Aaron was.
"Budge." I shoved his legs which were stretched across the sofa to make room for me to sit down.
"Talking to me now, huh?" He moved his legs as I sat cross legged on the sofa.
"Shut up." I hissed, snatching the TV remote out of his hands.
"Hey! I was watching that!" He whined as I began flicking through channels.
"Yeah, and now you're not." I blankly replied.
"Rude. That's like £2 in the Twat Jar." He referred to thay stupid jar everyone had to put money in for being mean or, as the title suggest, a twat. It was completely stupid considering it only benefited Aaron.
"How about no?" I hissed which made him shake his head and look away.
I was feeling quite comfortable dressed in my pyjamas and noticed Aaron was dressed in his too. I couldn't help but think that he looked absolutely adorable in them as well as secretly swooning over his defined abs which I could faintly see through his shirt.
I saw his lips tug upwards a little and soon realised that I saw staring and he was fully aware of this fact, owing to his not so discrete smirk.
I averted my eyes back to the TV and turned my attention on what to watch.
"Oh, The Notebook is on!" I gasped as a smile crept onto my face.
"Oh God." He rolled his eyes in annoyance.
I didn't care if I was being rude, I wanted to watch The Notebook so I was going to watch The Notebook.
"Pass us the blanket." I told him as the film started. He reluctantly obliged and threw it over to me. I hugged my knees to my chest and got comfy in the blanket.
