"You can close your eyes to the things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to the things you don't want to feel." -Johnny Depp

He left.

I woke up and he was gone. I was in the kitchen making myself breakfast and Olivia came in asking if I knew where Aaron was. Tommy came in moments later and said Aaron texted him late last night explaining that he was going to London for a few days to visit his parents.

He didn't even say goodbye...

I wouldn't see him again. Well, I guess when I came to visit Olivia once I had moved out I may see him. I doubt I'd be coming back to the apartment though.

It kind of saddened me knowing that he was hurt so much by me, he couldn't even manage a simple goodbye.

The person who owned the store that I wanted to rent out called me. Twice. She kept asking if I still wanted the room and it pained me both times when I told her that I simply didn't have the money. I really really really wanted her property. To other people, they could get a £200 deposit easily. But I wasn't other people. It just wasn't meant to be.

"That's so weird of him to just leave like that." Olivia took a sip of her tea as we all sat around our small dining table. She was referring to Aaron's sudden departure.

"I'm betting it had something to do with his and Ellie's argument last night." Tommy told Olivia and then turned to me. "What was that about?"

I hadn't told either Tommy or Olivia that I was moving out. It was a stupid move on my part, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I guess I had to do it some time.

"He over heard a conversation I was having on the phone and things escalated." I frowned.

"Over heard what? Were you chatting up some boy?" Tommy joked.

"A new boy on the scene and you didn't tell me?" Olivia gasped. "How dare you?"

Another boy? Puh-lease. I could hardly handle this one.

"There was no guy." I shook my head before I added: "And even if there was, it has nothing to do with Aaron."

"Seriously?" Tommy scoffed. "What's going on with you two? It's like you've been living on different planets lately."

We might as well be, considering the way things were going.

"That doesn't matter, I'm more interested in what Aaron over heard on the phone." Olivia cut in.

Urgh, I had to tell them now, didn't I? How would they react? I didn't want to upset them but at the same time, the longer I waited, the more worse the situation will get.

"I...I was talking to someone who has a spare room in her apartment." I confessed.

"Why?" Olivia seemed puzzled.

"I've been planning on moving out." I admitted.

I watched as both of their faces fell at my news. Tommy was just in pure shock as if I had told him that Taylor Swift was a man whereas Olivia looked as if I'd just taken a shit in her kettle.

"Why?" Was all Olivia could say.

"I just want a fresh start. Me living here wasn't supposed to be permanent. It'll just make things easier for me." I explained.

And that was the truth. Sure I'd initially made the decision because I couldn't bare seeing Aaron all the time, but I kind of realised that it was good for other reasons too.

"When?" Olivia frowned.

"Well, they haven't offered me the room but when, I mean if, they do, I'll be moving on Thursday." I revealed.
