• Marisa's POV •
It was the last day of school at Elmwood High and everyone was of course shoving past people in the hallways, loud screaming and chatter, and the constant yelling of the teachers to get out. I don't blame them, though.
The kids here are basically just here because it's a last-resort school and they've either been expelled from their old school, so there's a lot of violence here and it scares me often times.
I was walking out to my car to wait for my two friends, Malory and Reagan, and Damian, one of my friends on the basketball team, and bring them over to my house and hangout. Reagan liked Damian and I'm bet friends with him. He lives in my neighborhood too, along with Malory and Reagan. I decided to hook them up somehow. We were all just sophomores, and when next year starts we'll be juniors.
Malory is the youngest and hasn't gotten her license yet but she'll be getting it this summer. She's already gotten her permit and she turns 16 over the summer.
"MARISA I'M FINALLY A JUNIOR YES" I heard Malory yell.
I looked up from my phone and saw her running over to me.
Reagan followed behind her talking to Damian. Malory looked at me and I motioned her to look at Reagan and Damian.
She looked at them and back to me jumping around doing her happy dance.
One of Damian's friends, Michael, or Mikey, came up to him and they started talking.
"RUDE MIKEY" I yelled. I was friends with most of Damian's friends so sometimes they come over with us.
"Dammit who's sitting in the middle?" Reagan asked. Mikey ran up to the car and yelled "SHOTGUN" and got in.
"Oh hell no I'm not sitting between you guys" said Damian already choosing the left seat.
"And I'm not sitting between you two incase I interrupt anything" Malory said giggling and pushing Reagan into the middle seat. Reagan blushed after she said that.
"I like not needing to compete for a seat in the car." I said to myself.
I got in and started the car.
"Hey Marisa" Reagan called. I looked back at her and she snapped a picture of me. I quickly looked away attempting to get away from being on her snapchat.
Reagan's the one that usually is more of the dare devil and has more of a daring spirit in school when it comes to the rules. She's always on her phone (but who isn't?) and always tries to snap a picture of you for blackmail (or just plain embarrassment).
Malory was more of the hyper one in the group. She doesn't get caught up in or get caught causing drama, even though as can really make people hate someone, which sometimes scared me. She has the same style as the rest of us and usually acts like our mom, so she helps us plan our summers and hangouts even though we practically live together.
"Hey what did you do with my joggers?" I asked Malory through the rearview mirror.
"Bitch be specific you know I we all have at least a third of all each other's closet in their closet so which ones?" Malory asked.
"Well sorry for asking and the magenta flower ones" I told her.
"Wait the ones that are all black with magenta roses on them?" Reagan asked.
"Yeah why? Do you have them?" I asked her.
"Well I should have them because they're mine" she said.
"Ooohhhh then you might not want to see what happened when my dog got them" Malory told her.
"Oh my gosh Malory what's wrong with you we make you the group's mother and you just go and let you dog rip up your friend's joggers?" Reagan asked Malory.
