= RAVEN'S POV =

Nandito na kami sa opening ng isang forest. Naglalakad kami papunta sa loob ng magsalita si Jade.

"Hanggang sa opening lang ng forest na ito yung alam ni Buttler Simmons. Hindi niya alam yung mismong secret place. Ako lang ang nakaka-alam, pero ngayon malalaman mo na kung saan yun." - Jade.

Naglakad pa kami papasok sa forest hanggang sa marating naming yung isang river na clear yung tubig. Yung makikita mo ang pinaka-ilalim. Tapos puro flower sa gilid nung river. Pero ang nakapag-tataka ay may mga woods na naka-ready para sa bonfire tapos parang may maliit na shelter or kubo. Gawa siya sa dahon at sa kahoy. Meron siyang butas para magmukhang window tsaka pinto. Familiar sakin to ah. Ito yung maliit na bahay na tinapos ko nung napadpad ako dito. Boring kasi sa bahay nun kaya naglakad-lakad ako. Tapos napunta ako dito, nakita ko noon yung hindi pa tapos na bahay. Kaya, ayun tinapos ko. Buti marunong ako. :) Parang campsite lang pero hindi tent yung gamit. Nahalata siguro ni Jade yung iniisip ko dahil sa expression ko nung pagkakita ko sa maliit na shelter kaya nagsalita siya.

"Ginawa ko yan. Naghanap ako ng mga gamit. Tumakas kasi ako sa bahay nun dahil nag-away kami nila mommy, tapos ayun... Napadpad ako dito. Simula nun, ito na yung secret place ko para may matataguan ako o kaya may space ako. I built a small shelter, I made fire to heat up at night and pick berries for food. Sometimes I climb up trees to get star-apples or other fruits. 

I stayed here in 2 nights and 2 and a half days. Fortunately, I survived. I can't hold back. I want to see my parents and apologize to them. When I came back home, I saw mom sobbing while dad's comforting her. I saw that the police just left the house, may be mom and dad called them to find me. Even dad was crying then, but he's silent.

They didn't notice me yet, so I called to them. Mom came running towards me and she engulfed me in a big hug. She was shouting at me, saying that they were worried sick and they thought that I was kidnapped. And that was the time where I got grounded for 2 months. I obeyed them. I understand why mom did that, it was for my safety. So I just came here and it became my sanctuary. Or that's what others call their secret place." - Jade.

"I know that you didn't finish the little house." - me.

"Yup. Wait... How did you know? (O.o)" Jade with matching big eyes and slightly raised eyebrows.

"Because I'm the one who finished it." Sabi ko at napa-smile ng malapad.

Actually, 1 dingding lang yung nagawa ko. Nung nakita ko kasi yan dati, 3 walls lang yung meron tapos makakapal na patong-patong na malalaking dahon para sa bubong. Ginawa ko yung isang dingding na may butas para sa pinto. Maliit lang naman siya. Hindi siya katulad ng malalaking kubo.

"Oh. Well, belated thank you though. If it weren't for you back then that I didn't know, I would've slept with the rain pouring heavily." sabi niya na medyo nahihiya.

"Yeah. Well you are very welcome then." sabi ko tapos nag-chuckle.

Nag-usap nalang ulit kami hanggang sa nagdecide kami na umuwi na.

= JADE'S POV IN THE FLASHBACK =

We're here at the house. Well we just got back from OUR hiding place. We went to the living room and saw my parents with Tita Ritch who is now with his husband, Tito Keid who is carrying a little baby that wears a baby pink dress with white flowers printed all over it. She is also wearing a little headband with a big white rose at the side.
