After years of never seeing my siblings they just come back unannounced.

"Heyyy! Good to see you eh!" My sister, Fawn, said.

They never greeted me so politely, now I'm suspicious...

"What do you need..?"

"Okay so we might have broken a law back in Indiana and then got evicted so now we have to come and live with you I hope you don't mind!" My brother, Tony, stated in one breath.

I deadpanned. Which law could they have broken leaving them to get evicted..? Actually I can think of some, nevermind that.

"Just go unpack upstairs." I walked past them whilst they were grinning and went to go get some groceries.

"Good morning Jorge!" I spoke to the person behind the stand.

"Hey! Y/N you here for the usual?" He questioned "Of course I am!"

"So, have you heard about Antonio's gift ceremony tonight? I'm pretty scared he won't get a gift because of.. well y'know, what happened last with Mirabel. I wonder how that girl is still as happy as she is, I would be extremely sad. Anyways here's the pound of meat, lettuce, and 5 carrots!"

If I'm being completely honest, I was scared aswell. I know that Mirabel was humiliated and I just wouldn't be able to stand that look again.

"Thanks!"

Her eyes looked like they were about to tear up but she looked back at Alma confused. Alma was shocked and couldn't believe what had happened. She tried to cheer everybody up by offering food and drinks while Mirabel ran to her room.. Did she even try to comfort Mira?

"Hey Y/N!" I get caught off guard by Pepa interrupting my thoughts.

"Oh uh, hey Pepa." I responded

"So incase you haven't heard, Antonio is having his gift ceremony tonight! I was hoping you could make it and anyone else in your family!"

"How did you know they were here?" I questioned.

"Dolores told me about it.. Anyways hope you guys can make it! Have a nice day Y/N"

"Thanks you too!"

Dolores knows too much. I wonder what she hears all the ti- nevermind... no I don't. Oh god the images.

I walked back home and inside to see my siblings fighting over who has to do the dishes.

"I'll do it you losers." I told them

"Thank you big sis I couldn't stand to do it!" The youngest, Izan, praised me.

"Anyways, Pepa invited me and you guys to Antonio's gift ceremony tonight, you up to go?"

"Who is Antonio??" Oh right they weren't here for like 10 years.

"It's Camilo's younger brother. A 5 year old."

"No dip he's five years old, I don't see gift ceremonies at 25. I just hope he actually gets a gift unlike what happened last time with Mirabel. The silence was so awkward my ears were getting clogged with air."

"I don't think that's possible Tony," Fawn commented, "Anyways of course we are up to go and see little Antonio's gift ceremony!

"K."

-TIME SKIP-

Me and my siblings were walking up to Casita when we saw curly hair greeting everybody.

"Hey Fawn! I haven't seen you in so long." He gave my sister a long hug before letting us pass. When we walked inside their eyes lit up with amazement as they watched Casita help everyone. Pushing kids down stairs, hanging hats, this house does more then me on a daily.

Julieta immediately greeted me,

"Hey Y/N! Forgot about inviting you sorry.. But still, I'm glad you were able to make it." She says with a polite smile.

"It's cool, Pepa invited me." After saying that Julieta just walked away. Soon enough everybody came inside the house including Camilo who was greeting everybody. Soon enough Alma called everyone around the pathway and we just waited.

Antonio soon came out after his family. He just stood there for a couple of seconds rocking back and forth. I can see why he didn't move, he didn't want to be embarrassed

He looked behind him and soon came out Mirabel holding his hand. Alma looked so shocked. It's as if Mirabel was some sort of virus to her.

Antonio went and touched his doorknob as everyone was watching in suspense. Once he touched the door it started glowing gold. Everybody let out a breath they probably didn't even know they were holding in.

A bird immediately flew to Antonio's shoulder.

"Uh-huh!" His eyes lit up, "I know what you're saying!" So his gift was the ability to speak to animals, interesting.

Antonio opened his room door everyone immediately made there way inside along with multiple animals. They must be oddly impatient. Once everyone was inside I made my way there aswell so I didn't get trampled by the crowd.

Below me something crawled over my foot. I looked and saw a rat and another one came out of the painting. As I was about to go investigate, someone called my name.

"Y/N! Aren't you going to come see the room?" Julieta asked me.

"Umm." I turned to look back at the painting before looking back towards her, "Yeah I'm coming." I soon followed her into Antonio's giant jungle.
