Annie sat there silently with her eyes focused on the floor as Chloe and Diana laughed at her, I stormed over to defend Annie. "What are you laughing at?" I snapped, they looked me up and down and Chloe smirked, "you're hair, it's so plain." I rolled my eyes as they laughed, "at least my hair isn't as ugly as yours, your hair looks like someone dropped a bowl of half cooked spaghetti on your head." Chloe scoffed, "what is that even supposed to mean?" I rolled my eyes and retorted, "oh right, I'm sorry but I don't speak idiot, so I can't translate." Chloe glared at me and turned to Diana, "come one, let's leave these weirdos alone". As they walked away I turned to Annie and sighed, she had been so quiet since her dad had died, she always had been quiet but ever since that day she barely ever spoke, it didn't help that she was still a suspect in his murder. "You really don't have to sit here" murmered Annie, "why shouldn't I?" I replied, knowing the answer perfectly well, this was a conversation we had constantly, "everyone will think you're a weirdo" Annie said, "well, that's their problem isn't it?" I picked up my fork, "plus, you're so much more interesting than those shallow girls". The chair next to me scraped across the floor, "sup loosers?" Greeted Alex, "you know that's never going to be cool right?" Questioned Ella as she walked up and slumped in the chair next to Annie, Alex glared at Ella, "I'm sure it'll catch on one day" Ella raised an eyebrow, "uh huh, but one day hasn't happened to have been in the last 3 years or so that you've been using it?" Alex pouted, "patience Pamela, patience." "DON'T, use my full name ALEXANDER, you know I hate it" Alex frowned, "only if you don't use mine, PAM!" "IT'S ELLA, ALEX! Not Pam, not Pamela, Ella" yelled Ella. I rolled my eyes and tuned out their bickering to focus on my food.
