I stand there unable to move. I see him laying there, and I freeze. The driver of the car is calling 9-1-1. When the ambulance comes I run over to him. When we get to the hospital I call his parents. They come right away. The doctors just got a cast on his leg when they got there.
He was still asleep. That night I stayed there with him. He woke up around noon the next day."Hey" I say. "Hey, What happened?" he asks calmly. "You were hit by a car." I say. "Wow me and you need to stay away from cars." he says laughing. "Yea." I say laughing too.
"Can I talk to him?" his mom asks me. "yea." I say a little confused why was she asking me. She goes in and they talk for a while. When she came out she had a sad expression on her face."What is wrong." I ask very worried now. "His injures are worse than we thought." she says almost crying. "What do you mean?" I ask almost crying myself. "He has to have sugery, but it may not work." she says hurried trying not to cry, but in the end we both cry.
