the lights had gone out. but high up in the playpalace y/n huddled in a corner. crying from the dark they held their knees close into a little ball. there was bumping in the slide coming close to them.
moondrop poked his head out from the slide, a hand reaching out for the child. he pat their head. crawling out he pulled them into his arms. "it's alright- im here." picking y/n from the ground he sat criscross with them on his lap. "whats wrong little star? afraid of the dark?"
a slow nod they hid face within his arms. "i have something just for that,," reaching into his pants pocket it was a little star. a gentle glow of yellow came to it as she shook it. "if things get too dark just shake this. its not alot,, but i hope it helps."
holding it out in his hand the child put their hands together, having the star placed in hand. moondrop whiped the tears from their eyes. hugging close y/n closerd their eyes as moondrop carried them out of the playarea. tucking them in he put the star in their hand once again. "goodnight little star." he simled watching them slowly fall asleep.

y/n poked moondrop just before bedtime started. he turned around. looking at it cafefuly. "am i giving this to sundrop?" he crouched on one knee. the quiet child shook a no. "who is it for..?" the child pointed to moon.
he smiled soflty. "for me? thank you kiddo i love it." ruffling their hair y/n came in for a hug. held for a moment before putting on the braclet. "now lets get you to bed okay?" he carried them out of the play place and onto one of the matts. tucking them in moondrop moved the hair from their face. "rest well now okay my little star?" they nodded holding the light up star close. "goodnight.."
