𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

Cancer's POV

    I knew something was wrong when Leo, Libra, Aries, Sag, Taurus, and Gemini didn't turn up for dinner. In fact now that I was thinking about it the last time I saw any of them was after Orion explained his plan to wait here.

    "Where do you think they went?" Aqua asked.

    "I don't know, we've checked everywhere. They aren't in the dorms, cafeteria, gym, outside, or training room. Do you think they're mad at us?" Virgo asked worriedly.

    Scorpio shook his head, "Why would they be mad at us? They probably just wanted to scare us, they'll turn up eventually." Even he didn't seem so certain.

    "I just- I feel like somethings wrong." I announced.

    We were silent for a while. At the moment we were hanging out in my dorm. I chewed my lip in consideration, there had to be some place we were forgetting to check. Or maybe they were in a closet watching us waiting for the right moment to jump out and say "surprise"!

    "Has anyone answered their phones?" Pi asked.

    "They all went to delivered." Capricorn told us rubbing his temple.

    Willing someone to answer I took out my phone again and rang Libra. No answer.

    Gemini. No answer.

    Sagittarius. No answer.

    Taurus. No answer.

    Aries. No answer.

    Finally I rang Leo expecting the call to fail, instead to all of our surprise he picked up.

    "Leo! where are you guys!" I asked as everyone gathered around the phone.

    The connection went in and out, he froze in the frame. From the looks of it he was outside.

    "Are those... birds?" Virgo asked cautiously.

    Sure enough in the corner of the screen there seemed to be a giant flock of black birds.

    "Leo can you hear me?" I tried again.

    This time he answered. "Cancer- help."

    I shared a look with everyone else. We had different emotions on our face, but we all shared one in common- fear.

    "Help? Help with what? Tell us where you are," I asked him.

    The connection went out again, but luckily it came back. "The Cave of Stjarnor. It's Ophiuchus. We wanted to find her and put an end to all of this so Ainsworth helped us find where she was and now we're here but she's fighting back." Then Leo gasped, "Oh no. Hurry." Just before the connection went out for good I was able to steal a glance at what caused Leo anxiety. A dust storm, headed straight to them.

    "We need to help them!" Aquarius said frantically.

    "We can't just run out to the battle field, We're hardly trained and last time you almost died." Scorpio said.

    "So what are we just gonna sit here? We have to do something." Aqua argued.

    "Lets go tell Orion, maybe he'll know what to do." Virgo decided.

    We all nodded in agreement deciding it was a good plan and rushed down to the training room.

    When we got down to our training room we saw Orion studying some papers at his desk. In the corner Lyra was humming a tune while cleaning the paint off the window.

    "Orion! The other signs are in trouble." Capricorn told him.

    Orion snapped to attention, "What do you mean in trouble?"

    And we told him. Everything. When we finally finished Orion rubbed his face tiredly, "Well I suppose you all ought to go save them right?"

    "Aren't you going to come with us?" Pisces asked.

    Orion shook his head, "No I have different matters I must attend to, urgent ones at that. But I trust in your abilities to save the others and convince Ophiuchus to join the Constellations again."

    I guess I had a baffled expression on my face because Orion then turned to me and asked, "Is something wrong Cancer?"

    "Its just- last time we lost. What makes you think it will be any different?"

    He smiled, "I know it will be different because I have watched you all grow close and stronger. You have something Ophiuchus could never hope to obtain- a family. Not with your parents, but with each other. That's something worth winning for huh?"

    I considered that for a minute, he was right. We all had grown closer than friends, more than allies, more than classmates. We were family.

    "Sir?" Scorpio asked.

    "Yes?"

    "We need a car."

I honestly cringed my way through this chapter. It really reminded me of a Disney channel show but I liked the message so oh well. Hope you enjoyed!
