y/n's pov

"your my celebrity crush too" jaden said to me before he got in his car.

i couldn't move after that. no shot he meant it. he had to just be saying it to be funny. right? right. jaden smiled at me from the car while he waited for bryce to leave alex's house. god his smile is mesmerizing, we kept making faces at each other until i felt a hand on my back

"bye y/n it was really dope meeting you we have to keep hanging out " a voice said from behind me. i looked over my shoulder and saw bryce. "aw you too bryce, i have your number from alex so we have to something soon" i said smiling,  he pulled me into a hug and began to walk away "wait bryce i have a question" he stopped at the passenger side door and looked up "no come here" i groaned he smiled and ran back to me leaving jaden confused.

"jaden told me i was his celebrity crush what do you know about that" i said fast- bruce looked at me seriously and then burst into laughter "oh my god y/n are you kidding me" i looked at him confused before he continued "y/n the boy has practically been fawning over you since you first appeared on alex's channel" I sighed in relief and laughed. 

"good he said i was his celebrity crush but i thought he was just being a douce" I laughed. bryce smiled and hugged me "trust me he is so into you" he smiled. he kissed my cheek in a friendly way and walked back to jaden's car. 

i am so excited for our date.

jaden's pov

i saw chase hug y/n. not gonna lie it kind of annoyed me but i guess they're friends too now. i watched him walk to the car but for some reason walked back to y/n and KISSED HER CHEEK. what the fuck.

I huffed and started answering my snaps. I heard the car door open and started the car. "jaden" i just kept driving. "jaden" i turned up the radio. I started feeling pokes on my arm. at this point i knew he was purposely being irritating. "what did y/n need?" i said casually "aw your jealous" he said like a girl poking my side.  "no im just curious" i grumbled 

   "admit your jealous or i'm keeping my mouth shut" bryce said continuing to poke my arm. i rolled my eyes and looked at him "fine. i'm a little jealous" i mumbled. bryce threw his hands in the air and started dancing in his sea. "she wanted to know if you were telling the truth about her being your celebrity crush" he smiled. "oh" i smiled

y/n's pov

   "alex this is  insane" i said from my car window. He looked up and started laughing "what alex" i laughed awkwardly "you and jaden hit it off well huh?" alex smirked. i rolled my eyes jokingly and pulled out my phone to show him the texts with me and jaden. "YOU GUYS HAVE A DATE?" i smiled and started my car "NO Y/N YOU KNOW I HAVE TO APPROVE OF ANYONE BEFORE YOU DATE THEM" alex said like a dad. 

 honestly alex was the closest thing i had to a dad- i was only 13 when my dad passed so i never got the universal experience of being scared to bring a boyfriend home because of my dad's lack of approval or anything like that. alex was the next best thing though i considered him more of a big brother. He was 21 and i am 19 so he always acts like he's so much older than me then he actually is, same with kouvr.

 "oops sorry bud didnt hear you gotta go" i said pulling out of his driveway. He yelled something else that i couldn't understand. i rushed home too see my mom. i still cant get over her decision but i think i'm coming to terms with it. 

 i unlocked the door and walked into the living room where she almost always is when i get home but for some reason she wasn't there. "mom" i called out. no answer. i ran around the entire house until i saw her laying down in her and my dad's old room.

you see, when he died my mom had me move all of her stuff out of the room and into one of the guest rooms that became her room. she avoided that room until a few months ago so to see her sleeping in it was a shocker. 

i walked in the room and laid next to her, i did this a lot when she first got sick. it was and continues to be super comforting for the both of us. a while later she turned over and looked at me "hi y/n" she said softly as she grabbed my hands "hi mama, sleep okay?" i asked her "best in months honestly it's like he was here with me" she sniffled, i wasn't sure what to say so i just nodded my head.

"oh oh tell me who the special guests were" she said sitting up "easy mom and you'll never believe me remember how i was showing you that super cute guy jaden hossler ?" i said all giggly 

"the one who makes music and those cute little youtube videos?" she said as equally excited i nodded my head and continued "him mom! AND we have a date on Saturday" i squealed. my mom brought me in for a hug and held me tight. "im so happy for you baby" she said in my ear.

     i smiled and laid my head on her lap as i continued talking to her about my weird day "i don't know mom it just doesn't feel right, no boy has ever been interested in me let alone jaden fucking hossler" i sighed as my mom gave me a disapproving look.

   "y/n you practically have already said it, its new and exciting so of course your going to be nervous, and don't you dare say no guy has been interested in you. your relationship with josh might've ended terribly but he was still head over heals for-" she started before getting interrupted by a violent spring of coughs"

 words will never express how much i hate seeing her like this. knowing that she's just slowly dying can i can't do anything to help the woman who gave me everything.

 "your right mom, get some rest i love you" i said kissing her head and walking out.

she was wrong. i just wanted to hear the end of the conversation. she only knew the half of my relationship with josh. he didnt love me. he loved the fact that he could control me and use me for his benefit. josh richards  was the one and only influencer i ever dated. 

looking back i realize that dating josh was probably one of my more stupid decisions. it was a couple months after his very public breakup with nessa and falling out with jaden. hence why i never knew jaden. 

he needed someone to clean his reputation and i was the solution. the fresh faced new girl in the hype house. we lasted for about 6 months before i finally walked away from him. in the beginning he was the sweetest and most charismatic boy ive ever met but after a while he became so controlling forcing me to leave hype and all my friends. 

i snapped out of my own thoughts and started thinking about my date with jaden. i was really beginning to second guess him. what if he's just like josh? he did take nessa when josh and her called it quits, what if im just some sick game to him? no. not possible. nobody knew josh and i dated besides for bryce, the bff's pod members and the hype house. and jaden and josh don't even speak.

i was once again snapped out of my thoughts by my phone buzzing
