Chapter 9

No one's P.O.V

Mike is seen on the top of the tree. "Zoey! Zoey!" He takes a step forward. "Tell me where you are!" The branch then breaks from beneath him and his shirt gets caught on the sharp branch, ripping as he lands on a tombstone with his back arched over it.

"Brick?! Brick?!" Nora ran around calling for him.

"Oh My Gosh! Mike! I think I found the first clue!" Anne-Maria said as Mike winces in pain. "Woah, June 6 1806, I'm no algebra expert but ain't that 6,6,18,6?"

Mike gasps stands up and turns into Vito."Where's the freaking sun?! How's a guy supposed to get a freakin tan over here?!"

The latina squeals. "Ahhh! Vito!"

"6,6,18,6! Anne Maria you found it!" Cameron said.

"And check it out there's a keyhole! Eah! Who's the sharpest tool on the christmas tree now?" Anne-Maria said.

Jo then yelled at Anne Maria. "JUST USE THE KEY ALREADY!"

Anne Maria pulled the key from her chest. "Yeesh! Okay, keep your sweatpants on..." She unlocks the grave with it but is thrown backwards by a coffin attached to a spring.

Cameron opens the coffin. "Cool! Flashlights. These will come in handy!" He then grabs them.

"Let's get moving." Jo said as both Cameron and Nora ran off. She turns to Vito. "Okay strong man make yourself useful and put that coffin back so the rats won't know where to look."

Vito walks and closes the lid and punches it back into place. He chuckles to himself and walks off. Sam is seen behind the tree watching them. "Caw! Caw!" The gamer called out.

B walks up to Sam confused.

"What? I was using animal calls to signal you. Team Maggot found the souvenirs in the tombstone over there." He points to the grave.

The silent inventor walks towards the said grave.

"But be careful when you use that key cuz..." Sam tried to warn him but B got thrown backwards by the coffin as he unlocks it with the key. "Nevermind."

The scene changes to Cameron, Nora and Jo outside of a cave.

"Welcome to your final destination! Mwah ahaha! The clue is just inside the entrance and down the tunnel into darkness. Good Luck you'll need it." Chris said through speaker.

Cameron glups.

"Follow my lead fly weights." Jo snatched one of the flashlights which caused Cameron to drop the rest of them.

Nora help him picking them to him as she grabed one for herself.

"Where are Anne Maria and Mike?" Cameron asked.

"Who cares?" The tomboy replied from the cave as her voice echoes from inside.

"Cameron you go find them while I go with Jo." Nora said as she turned on her flashlight.

"Got it!" He nodded before running off. "Mike? Anne Maria?"

Jo flashes her light on a skeleton stuck in a cobweb. Nora followed not long after.

Jo notices the clue on the skeleton and reads it. "It's so hard to find good help nowadays. And here's the clue."

"What does it say?" Nora asked.

"By hook or by crook the end is near if you look." Jo reads it. "Urgh, who wrote these William Shakesp..." But she was shoved by Nora as a web was headed straight for her.

"Look out!" The short girl was tackled to the ground before getting wrapped by the web. "Hey, huh? Aaaaaaaaaaah!" Nora screams as she was draged away.

The web then gets Jo as well. "Hey! How dare you! No!"
